The main family's patriarch's expression changed at once. "You're after the Byakugan?!"
Naruto's tone was calm. "More precisely, I want the Tenseigan."
The patriarch's pupils contracted. "How do you know about the Tenseigan?"
"When Yin Release reaches its ultimate limit, it can give rise to the Rinnegan. Then when Yang Release reaches its end, there should naturally be a corresponding ocular technique." Naruto looked at him. "If I'm not mistaken, that technique is the Tenseigan."
The Sage of Six Paths' power leaned more toward the God Tree's lineage, while the power Hamura left behind originated more from the Ōtsutsuki Clan's own bloodline.
Later, the branch family used the eyes of their entire clan to create Otsutsuki Toneri, whose bloodline had reverted to that of the Ōtsutsuki Clan. After Toneri obtained Hanabi Hyuga's pair of exceptionally pure Byakugan, he used the massive Tenseigan to bring the Byakugan to a higher stage of evolution.
The Ōtsutsuki bloodline within Naruto was clearly not enough for him to awaken the Tenseigan on his own. By that logic, only one path remained: use the eyes of every Hamura descendant on the moon to sacrifice and forge the final Tenseigan.
This method was not without a price. The Tenseigan created this way was much like the Ten-Tails, stuffed full of the souls of dead clansmen. Those departed souls could easily assault the user's mind, eventually making them lose control and go berserk.
But for Naruto, that flaw was no flaw at all.
With his Six-Tomoe Rinnegan, he was practically the natural enemy of those departed
