"His skills are average at best."
"Compared to you, he's nowhere near your level."
Naruto rolled his eyes inwardly. The guy was praising him so much he almost felt embarrassed.
Feeling a little awkward, Naruto reached back and scratched his head.
This mutual flattery was making his hands shake.
"Heh, it's only because I want to get stronger."
"I'm already pretty strong, but who wouldn't want to get a little stronger?"
That was what Naruto said, but he was already plotting how to get his hands on a few more skills.
Naruto's eyes lit up. He turned to Nami beside him.
"Come on, I'll show you something fun."
He grabbed Nami and hurried her toward the middle of the street.
Before Nami could react, he had dragged her all the way there.
A beautiful woman stood there in plain sight.
She stood in the middle of the road, surrounded by a crowd of onlookers.
Nami stared at Naruto, her face darkening.
She had a pretty good idea what Naruto was up to.
"You didn't drag me over here just to look at a beautiful woman, did you?"
Naruto shook his head and raised his right hand, pointing toward the confrontation nearby.
He looked ready to enjoy the show.
"Take a look at who's sitting in the crowd."
Nami looked over in confusion. Her eyes went wide with shock.
She recognized the person sitting on the ground at once.
"Hmph. That guy sees a pretty woman and forgets how to walk. No wonder I've never liked him."
The disgust in her voice was unmistakable.
Naruto smiled.
That was exactly the reaction he wanted. Sanji just wouldn't give up on Nami.
Naruto was delighted. This was a win all around.
He'd been looking for a chance to knock Sanji down a peg.
