Cold sweat covered the side of Nami's face. No matter how much she wiped, it wouldn't come off. Her chest tightened, her thoughts tangled, and even her breathing went uneven.
The more she thought about it, the more overbearing that personality and way of doing things seemed. It was suffocating, downright unreasonable.
It left sweat beading on her forehead. Her eyes darted from side to side, she didn't know where to put her hands, and she couldn't bring herself to meet anyone's gaze.
"Forget it, forget it."
"I'm really not interested in that. If I were, I'd have said so ages ago. Why would I wait until now? Seriously."
"Six eighty."
"A figure is just an external thing to me."
"An external thing is an external thing. Why would I obsess over it?"
Her attitude seemed utterly casual, as though none of it was worth a thought.
It was as if none of this could affect her. She wouldn't take it to heart.
She could even keep things running more smoothly and make each result better than the last. It all came easily to her.
Naruto shrugged helplessly, his shoulders rising and falling as he wore a wry smile.
"Man, that really is a shame. I honestly don't care much about that stuff. Not at all."
"If you don't like it, then forget it. I guess he's lucky. Just as I was about to... Never mind."
"Anyway, let's watch for now."
"I think their fight's about to start. It's bound to be good. Really good."
Luffy turned and looked at the group of masked people behind him, staring for quite a while.
His eyes filled with deep thought. Then he slapped his forehead, his face lighting up with excitement.
"Whoa, I finally remembered your name!"
"I couldn't remember it before."
