Naruto stood on the raised platform, his arms loosely folded, staring down at Luffy in displeasure with a dark expression.
"All right, it's about time we left."
"We've wasted enough time here. We can't keep putting it off."
Luffy nodded eagerly.
"No problem! We'll set off right now!"
The man and woman exchanged a glance.
Both were a little curious about who Luffy was.
The woman's eyes were filled with confusion.
"Luffy, just who are you?"
Luffy blinked.
He loved it when people asked him who he was.
Questions like that gave him a real sense of accomplishment.
He immediately grinned, raising his right hand high with a proud expression.
"I'm the man who's going to become the Pirate King!"
The three people standing nearby froze on the spot.
"This guy really is an idiot."
"He's still dreaming of becoming the Pirate King?"
"He's completely delusional."
"Even now, he still hasn't figured out where he stands."
"I've seen plenty of arrogant, clueless fools like him!"
"Isn't that Naruto guy behind him the boss?"
"He's still dreaming of being the Pirate King? Hahaha! Does he think his boss is invisible?"
This guy really had some nerve saying that.
He hadn't even considered how weak he was.
Boss Naruto hadn't said a word, yet he was already bragging.
Naruto rubbed his forehead.
Over on the other side, the old man had been teaching Nami how to use the compass.
After fussing over it for nearly half a day, the old man finally nodded.
"All right, judging by how things look now, it should have just about finished recording the magnetic field."
"Give it a try. See if it works."
Nami nodded frantically.
Her eyes were filled with excitement.
She gripped the compass tightly, her fingers trembling slightly.
She nearly jumped for joy.
