"Wood Release: Thorn Kill Technique!"
Just as the four people in the game room sank into despair, a powerful voice suddenly rang out from outside the door.
Thick vines and trees came with it, bursting through the door like pythons and instantly piercing the white humanoid creatures' bodies, making them scream.
"H-how is this possible!"
The white creatures in the game room were all shocked.
They had not expected another Wood Release ninja to be in the Land of Night's Embassy. That meant the team sent to surround and kill him on the other side had very likely been killed instead.
"This is bad! He's absorbing our chakra!"
A dying white creature whose body had been pierced by a tree suddenly revealed the truth.
The trees piercing or winding around their bodies were frantically draining their chakra.
They immediately understood how the other team had failed. Even if they attached themselves to him as parasites, he could use Wood Release to absorb their chakra instead.
"Damn it!"
The white creatures secretly gritted their teeth, but there was nothing they could do.
They could only watch as the trees tightly entangled their bodies and pulled them out of the four Land of Night ninja and samurai.
"W-we're saved!"
The four ninja and samurai breathed out like survivors of a disaster. That had been far too close; they had nearly been killed by these inexplicable white creatures.
Standing in the game room doorway was a man in his thirties, about a hundred and eighty centimeters tall, with a powerful, burly build. The presence he radiated made him seem extremely dangerous to provoke.
"Captain, what's the situation?"
The four ninja and samurai quickly returned to combat readiness, breaking the arms and legs of some injured but still-living white humanoid creatures on the floor
