Xiao Wu arrives at Notting Academy and challenges Jiang Lin for control of Dormitory Seven. Her acrobatic, close-quarters style pressures him enough to make him fight seriously, but he defeats her without injuring her. She then proposes pushing their beds together so they can share the desirable window-side space. 11

When Tang San offers Xiao Wu his bedding, she chooses to share Jiang Lin's instead. This altered relationship with Tang San creates a major plot deviation and earns Jiang Lin 1,300 Collapse Points. 12

Notting Academy Conflicts

Xiao Wu stands beside Jiang Lin when Xiao Chenyu and his older students confront Dormitory Seven, explaining that she dislikes watching stronger people bully the weak. 12

After Jiang Lin defeats Xiao Chenyu and forces him to sign an IOU, Xiao Wu worries that the city lord's son will seek revenge. Jiang Lin reassures her, and the two share a meal afterward. 15
