Metal Jungle vs. Bone Forest

Midair.

Hyuga Satoru looked down at the bone forest that had appeared out of nowhere within the forest below, a grave expression appearing on his face.

"Tyrant Mode doesn't have much time left. I can't drag this out any longer."

He took out a scroll. As the white mist dispersed, a large number of kunai and shuriken appeared out of thin air, floating in midair behind him.

As he formed Electromagnetic Propulsion, the kunai and shuriken slowly began to spin. Blue arcs of lightning intertwined and passed through them, instantly enveloping all the ninja tools and forming a grid of electric arcs.

Hyuga Satoru raised his hand and swung it downward.

In an instant, the ninja tools floating behind him became electromagnetic cannons, shooting toward the ground at tremendous speed with thunderous roars.

A great number of bone spikes were shattered by the electromagnetic cannons, bone fragments and dust scattering everywhere.

Hyuga Satoru frowned slightly. Within the Byakugan's field of vision, there was no sign of Kaguya Maro being hit as expected.

"Did he teleport away before the attack arrived? What a troublesome ability."

Dance of the Larch was the ultimate technique of the Corpse Bone Pulse. The Kaguya Clan could teleport to any location covered by bone spikes.

Suddenly, a chill ran down his back.

Hyuga Satoru did not turn around. The Silver Snakes circling his body quickly writhed together, forming a shield behind him.

At the very moment the shield took shape, a tremendous impact burst across it, causing his body to stagger slightly as he was pushed several steps forward through the air.

Behind him, Kaguya Maro's lower body was connected to a massive bone spike that had stretched more than ten meters, bringing him directly behind Hyuga Satoru. His right hand had turned into a huge Spiral Bone Spike, pressing firmly against the silver shield.

"You really never learn."

Suppressing the churning blood in his chest, Hyuga Satoru's eyes flashed coldly.

A Metal Snake suddenly split off from the silver shield and slithered along the spiraling bone spike toward Kaguya Maro's body.

His pupils abruptly contracted. Kaguya Maro did not dare hesitate any longer and directly shattered the bone spike on his right arm. His body rapidly descended and sank back into the Bone Forest.

Hyuga Satoru tore open another scroll. A large number of Metal Ninja Tools appeared, and under the terrifying boost of Electromagnetic Propulsion, they transformed into electromagnetic cannons and fired at the ground.

Rumble!

A large number of bone spikes were destroyed, exposing a field of wreckage. Yet the bone forest seemed alive, rapidly spreading and growing, swallowing the gaps once more.

"Trying to stall for time?"

Hyuga Satoru narrowed his eyes. Tyrant Mode was running out, so he had to deal with this guy quickly.

He turned to look toward where Anko had fled and murmured, "It's been this long. Anko should be far away by now."

Then he took a deep breath, no longer holding anything back as the Chakra within him surged wildly.

He aimed his right hand at the earth and clenched it fiercely.

In an instant, the ground began to tremble unbelievably. As the earth shook, a vast Metal Jungle erupted from the ground, swallowing countless trees and madly crushing the Bone Forest.

Deep within the bone forest, Kaguya Maro's pupils trembled slightly.

"What kind of technique is this?!"

His Chakra surged wildly as he controlled the bone forest to grow again, trying to contend against the Metal Jungle. But the moment it formed, it was immediately crushed into bone fragments.

Amid thunderous rumbling, the black Metal Jungle completely overwhelmed the pale Bone Forest and steadily advanced toward the center.

In midair, Hyuga Satoru, his fist clenched tight, shook his head slightly.

That Metal Jungle had nearly drained all the metal particles from the earth within a radius of ten li, constantly compressing the gaps between those particles and greatly increasing their density.

Its hardness was far beyond anything Bone Weapons could compare to!

Suddenly, his face turned deathly pale, and he staggered in midair.

"Damn it, is Tyrant Mode about to end?"

In the distance, Anko, who was still fleeing, sensed the trembling earth and immediately turned around.

She saw vast amounts of black metal drilling out from the ground and violently colliding with the pale bone forest at the center.

The clash between black and white was clearly visible even from here.

"That is..."

Anko's pupils trembled slightly. Above the Metal Jungle that had burst from the ground, she saw a tiny figure swaying unsteadily, as though he might fall at any moment.

"Wu..."

Rumble...

In the air.

Hyuga Satoru's face was pale as he gritted his teeth and squeezed out the last of his Chakra.

Below him, the black Metal Jungle had already swallowed more than half of the Bone Forest and continued closing in on the center.

Seeing that he could no longer stop the Metal Jungle, Kaguya Maro's expression turned crazed. Savage blood vessels burst across his eyes as he let out a hoarse roar.

"If I'm going to die, you're coming with me! You're coming with me!"

At the final moment, the Kaguya Clan's mad bloodline completely consumed him. He gave up resisting the Metal Jungle altogether and mobilized all his remaining Chakra, causing the surrounding bone forest to shoot upward and spread at high speed, hurtling toward Hyuga Satoru in midair.

This was his final, fatal strike!

Without Chakra to support it, the Bone Forest was swallowed by the Metal Jungle at a greatly accelerated rate. In the blink of an eye, it had reached Kaguya Maro's side. Countless hard black metals pierced through his body, staining the ghastly white bones around him red.

He was laughing, laughing maniacally.

"Hahaha... You're going to die too! You'll die too!"

The rapidly growing bone spikes had arrived. Hyuga Satoru's eyes narrowed on his pale face. The immense drain on his body left him with almost nowhere to dodge, and the Silver Snakes rapidly flowed together, shielding his vital areas.

Splat!

Several bone spikes pierced through his body. Blood ran down the pale bone spikes, dripping drop by drop onto the Metal Jungle below.

The blue arcs of lightning flickering through his hair vanished. Hyuga Satoru felt searing pain completely engulf him.

Tyrant Mode had ended.

A clap of thunder suddenly sounded through the gray sky. Hyuga Satoru weakly raised his head as a cold raindrop struck his face.

Then came the second drop...

Rain washed the blood from his face, carrying away the last remaining warmth from his body.

"It's raining."

His eyes trembled slightly as he gazed at the sky, whispering so softly that his voice was almost inaudible.

The torrential rain that had been brewing for so long finally fell just as the battle reached its end...

Patter, patter...

June rain always came fiercely. Within only a few breaths, the rain had become heavy, dense drops washing over the brutal battlefield.

Beside the ruined Bone Forest, Kaguya Maro's body had been pierced through by the dense Metal Jungle. His corpse had already gone cold in the rain, yet his face still wore the cruel smile from his final moment.

Using the last of his strength, Hyuga Satoru slowly pulled his body free from the bone spikes. He fell from midair as the Silver Snakes around him condensed into a fist-sized Metal Sphere and fell with him into the ruins.

In the heavy rain, Hyuga Satoru's eyelids became unbearably heavy, as though filled with lead.

In his daze, he seemed to feel someone lift him onto their back and stagger forward through the pouring rain, a trace of warmth passing from that person's body into his own.

At the very end, his consciousness sank into darkness.
