Beneath the warm, brilliant rays of the rising sun, the kingdom's foremost wizard guild stood at the heart of town, gleaming in a golden glow—Fairy Tail!
"Ah~ The booze really does taste better here..." Achill drained his beer in one gulp, lounging sideways beside the Fairy Tail Guild's bar with a blissful expression. "Another glass, Mira~" That last remark was directed at Mira, who was polishing glasses behind the counter.
"I think what you really mean is that free booze tastes better." Mira rolled her eyes at him, set down the glass she was polishing, and turned to pour him another drink.
"Ahem, of course, that's only a tiny part of the truth!" Achill coughed twice. His skin had long since been tempered into steel, and he delivered this solemn declaration without so much as blushing or missing a breath. He even pinched his fingers together to demonstrate just how tiny that part was.
Mira gave him an enormous eye roll, expressing her helplessness.
"What a shameless guy..." Angel, who was also sitting at the bar, though at its other corner, muttered under her breath as she admired herself in a mirror.
