"Open, Gate of the Capricorn!" Lucy waved the golden key she had just taken out as she ran. "Caprico!"
"How may I serve you, Miss Lucy?" A golden magic circle appeared, and Caprico, wearing sunglasses and a black tailcoat, materialized beside Lucy in a dazzling burst of magical light.
After returning from yesterday's match, she had properly formed contracts with each of the four Zodiac keys Achill had given her. At least they would no longer be as awkward to use as they had been when she used them on the fly yesterday.
"Help me catch those people up ahead! They just ambushed and injured Granny Porlyusica!" Furious, Lucy pointed at the figures stumbling along ahead of her and shouted.
"As you wish." Caprico bowed slightly, then shot forward like an arrow, racing straight after the fleeing men.
These men were, of course, the elite squad Arcadios had sent. Moments earlier, they had suddenly appeared at the Inn where the Fairy Tail Guild was staying and, without a word, ambushed Porlyusica, who was giving Wendy her final treatment, and Carla, who had lately been falling into inexplicable trances.
The sudden ambush naturally left Lucy and Wendy scrambling, but fortunately, the attackers seemed to have underestimated their strength. Before long, the two girls had beaten them into a panicked retreat.
Naturally, neither girl intended to let these vile men get away so easily. Leaving Wendy at the Inn to care for the injured, unconscious Porlyusica and Carla, Lucy had chased after them alone.
She planned to catch the wretches and find out why they had done this, then go to the Grand Magic Games Arena and bring Mr. Achill back to heal the injured with that miraculous magic called Kidō.
