Achill felt the gazes of most of the spectators on him. Though he found it a little baffling, he could more or less understand what those looks meant.
"You're back, Achill." Mira walked over with Angel in her arms, smiling. She glanced pointedly at the spectators looking their way, then said with a knowing smile, "But it looks like you've stolen the spotlight again~" In other words, practically everyone already knew he had taken down all of Sabertooth.
"Just ignore them." Achill swept an indifferent glance across the arena. Under his cool gaze, everyone looking their way instinctively shrank back and turned away, not daring to look again.
"Hug~ Hug~" Angel waved her hands, giggling and wriggling in Mira's arms, with the Fluffy Dango clutched in her left hand.
"Be a good girl, Angel." A trace of affection flashed in Achill's eyes as he reached out to stroke the little girl's head. Seeing her narrow her eyes into shallow crescents and make contented little gurgles, he smiled faintly. "I'll come back and hold you later. Right now, I have to get ready for the competition."
"Ooh~" Angel lifted her head to look at the faint smile on Achill's face and nodded, only half understanding.
"Are you planning to handle all the competitive events again, Achill?" Once the family had finished their exchange, Makarov turned toward him with a chuckle. "At least leave everyone else a few chances~ If you take every event for yourself, the other guilds are going to be pretty miserable."
