This was a world of pure white. Throughout that boundless white space, enormous white cubes hung suspended, some more than ten thousand meters across, others barely a meter or two.
This world had no boundaries in any of its six directions. Above, there was no sky to see; below, no ground. Ahead, behind, left, and right, there was no visible limit either! The only things visible here were those countless white cubes floating in the air. Apart from them, nothing else existed.
It seemed simple, yet that very simplicity struck terror into the heart. It was a white nightmare born from the depths of the soul, more maddening than the fear of darkness...
There was no gravity here, yet gravity seemed to permeate everything. Its source appeared to be the countless floating white cubes. No matter which face of a cube someone stood on, they could stand firmly, just as if they were on ordinary ground. The only difference was that whether they stood on the top, bottom, left, or right face, the sensation was exactly the same as standing on solid earth, without the slightest difference or discomfort!
Simply put, it was easy to lose all sense of direction and distance here, to forget which way was up, down, left, or right. Of course, directions did not seem to exist here in the first place, nor was anything so irrelevant needed. Anyone could regard any direction as whichever one they wished.
