"Enough, enough! Stop laughing! Hardly anyone wants to hear you laugh like that."
"I really don't know what you find so funny. Making guildmates attack each other gives you a sense of accomplishment? When does everyone in the guild not fight? What does that prove?"
"You're so happy making your grandfather feel troubled and miserable!"
"I truly admire where you got the nerve to laugh out loud. I'm honestly sad that the guild has such an oddball like you."
"I really feel sorry for the old man. At his age, he has such an immature grandson."
"Shut your mouth!!!!!!" Laxus was deeply provoked by Ye's words.
Makarov knew Ye was good at tearing people down, but he had not expected him to be this ruthless. He had learned something today.
Just then, several new battle reports appeared after only a short while.
"These little brats really won't let me have a moment of peace!"
"Brat, what are you still doing here? Hurry up and deal with them! Are we still holding the Fantasy Parade tonight or not?"
"Sorry, sorry. I got addicted to arguing with him. I'm going, I'm going."
With that, Ye prepared to set off and teach those people a proper lesson. But just as he stepped out the door, another rune appeared. It said Ye was forbidden from passing, with a two-hour countdown. Taking into account the half hour that had just been wasted, Laxus had left himself half an hour to duel Ye.
"Ye, you should just stay here and watch the show. Wait for the final moment, when you and I have our showdown."
Ye said disdainfully, "You think this thing can trap me? Didn't you see the rune I smashed earlier?"
"That Fried didn't spend much time setting up the previous one. This one is different."
"You think changing the rune will be enough to trap me? You're underestimating me too much."
As he spoke, Ye raised his hand. White energy gathered in his palm, and a blast of energy directly smashed the rune apart.
Laxus looked at Ye in surprise. "I thought it could hold you back for a while, but I didn't expect it to be completely unable to stop you. Good. The stronger you are, the more defeating you will prove my strength."
Seeing the rune crumble in Ye's hands as if it were made of paper, Makarov was extremely shocked. With his experience, he naturally knew how powerful Fried's runes were. But then he remembered that Ye could even shatter Etherion. This little rune truly was nothing before him.
Seeing Ye leave, Makarov also breathed a sigh of relief. As long as Ye took action, this farce would soon be over.
After Ye walked out of the guild, Laxus asked Makarov, "Grandpa, do you really think Ye can defeat me?"
Makarov stared intently at Laxus. "It isn't a matter of belief. You and he see things differently, and your original intentions with magic are different as well. As you are now, it will be difficult for you to defeat that brat."
Laxus clenched his fists. "I'll prove you wrong, Grandpa!"
Makarov still tried to persuade him. "Laxus, stop while you can. Before this turns into something serious, apologize to everyone in the guild, and everything can still be put behind us."
"It's impossible for me to apologize to them. I did nothing wrong, so why should I apologize? The ones who should apologize are those parasites in the guild."
"Laxus, the guild isn't what you imagine it to be."
"I've been in this guild since I was little. Do I need to imagine it? If you don't go outside now, you have no idea what people out there say about Fairy Tail. I don't want anyone looking down on Fairy Tail."
Makarov sighed. "I can't persuade you anymore. Ye will stop you."
"All you ever talk about is Ye, Ye! Is he your grandson, or am I? I won't lose to that bastard again. I'll prove to you that I'm the strongest!"
With that, Laxus's thought projection left the guild.
"Laxus!!" Makarov shouted anxiously at the disappearing Laxus.
Natsu looked at his dejected grandfather. "Grandpa, are you okay?"
"Natsu, Grandpa is fine. It's all Grandpa's fault. I didn't teach Laxus properly, and that led to this incident."
"Don't worry, Grandpa. I'll stop Laxus."
"It's alright, Natsu. Ye has already gone after him. I believe this will be resolved soon."
"No! I'll find Laxus before Ye does!"
With that, Natsu ran off like the wind to find Laxus.
"Natsu! Sigh, another little brat."
"Master, don't worry. I'll help Fire Dragon."
"Gajeel, it's you. I didn't expect you to start thinking about your comrades when you haven't been in the guild for long."
"Ye taught me that. He saved me before, and he made me understand what a guild is. Enough talking, Master. I'm going to find Fire Dragon."
"Make sure you're careful."
Suddenly, Lidas stared at the battle report on the screen with a panicked expression.
"Master, look!"
Makarov was also startled when he saw the report. Every few seconds, a new battle report appeared. Every report recorded a battle between Ye and other guild members, and the number of remaining participants was plummeting wildly.
"Has that brat Ye gone on a rampage?!"
A few minutes earlier, Ye had been walking through the streets when he found battles between guild members everywhere. But he noticed that they were fighting without any consideration for the people around them. In particular, a spell had almost injured a child just moments ago. That instantly ignited Ye's anger, and he began an indiscriminate slaughter.
As he passed each shop, he apologized one by one.
"Sorry, our guild is rehearsing for tonight's parade. Things may have gotten a little too intense, but please don't take it to heart. Once rehearsal is over, I'll have them apologize to each of you and compensate you for the damages."
Everyone in Magnolia knew Ye. He was powerful, easygoing, and had no airs about him. Everyone liked him very much.
"Hohoho, since little Ye says so, we're looking forward to tonight's performance. Here, take this. It just came out of the oven."
"Thanks, ma'am!"

Laxus looked at the battle report before him.
"Damn Ye, he ruined my game."
Ye's appearance had completely disrupted Laxus's plans, making Laxus feel as though everything he had done was nothing more than a clown show.
Inside a clothing store somewhere in Magnolia.
Gray found Bickslow.
"I didn't expect you bastard to be hiding here."
"So you found me! Then let's play!"
The five wooden dolls spoke in unison. "Let's play! Let's play! Let's play!"
"I don't have time to play with you. Where is Laxus?"
"You want to find Laxus? Then you'll have to get past me first."
"Then I have no choice but to beat you first!"
Bickslow charged directly at Gray and swept his leg. Gray jumped to dodge, and Bickslow activated his magic.
"Go, babies! Straight-Line Formation!"
Gray, still in midair, was startled. "What?!"
He immediately crossed his ice-covered arms before his chest and blocked the attack. After landing, he immediately activated his magic.
"Ice Make: Lance!"
"Babies, X Formation!"
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
"You really are troublesome."
"Ice Make: Ocean!"
Cold air surged from Gray's hands. The ground rapidly froze over, and ice continuously spread toward Bickslow.
"Too slow, Gray. This won't be enough to restrain me."
"Bickslow, retreat! Babies, attack Gray!"
"The five dolls fired dense lightning lasers from their mouths."
"Ice Make: Wall!"
Gray raised an ice wall to block the five dolls, then circled out from the left. But just as he was about to get around them, the dolls spotted him and attacked. Completely caught off guard by their sharp perception, he took every hit head-on.
"Gray, you underestimated my babies too much. You're simply no match for me."
"Next comes the formation of victory."
"Doll Light-Killing Cannon!"
Just as Bickslow was about to unleash his magic, he discovered that he could not move. Looking down, he found that his feet had already been frozen.
"Damn it, when did this happen?"
"When I came out just now. Did you think I ran out like an idiot just to take your attacks? I came out so the ice beneath my feet could spread. You're the one who underestimated me! Did you think landing a hit meant you had won? Look up at the sky."
When he looked up, he found a massive ice hammer hanging above him.
"Ice Make: Giant Hammer!"
"Boom!"
