Showdown with the X-Men

Facing Cyclops's red energy beam, Ke Chen did not move an inch.

The X-Men all thought he had failed to react in time and prepared to save him.

After all, everyone knew how powerful Cyclops's ability was.

Only Mystique Raven stood to the side with her arms folded, watching the show. She knew what Ke Chen was capable of.

Every time they met, Ke Chen revealed a little more of his power, making even her feel that he was mysterious.

Ke Chen's eyes turned red as well, like lasers.

[Heat Vision!]

The violent Heat Vision collided directly with Cyclops's power, producing a sizzling burn in the air.

Cyclops's power was immediately suppressed, a fiery red dividing line forming between them.

"Boom!"

As an explosion erupted in the air, Cyclops was sent flying.

Fortunately, after the X-Men checked on him, they found that he was only injured and finally breathed a sigh of relief.

"You're not thinking of taking turns fighting me, are you?"

Ke Chen looked disdainfully at the other restless X-Men members.

But there was no way they could simply admit defeat like this.

Thus, Storm, Ororo Munroe, directly lifted herself into the air and challenged Peggy Carter and Lorna.

"I challenge one of the people beside you!"

She looked at Lorna and Peggy Carter, unsure which of them would fight.

Her ability was to control the weather, a Mutant power inherited through her family for thousands of years.

Just like her title suggested, Storm herself could control lightning, create tornadoes, and summon torrential rain.

Of course, that was after she had been enhanced by Apocalypse, and even then, she could not unleash it at full power.

Both Lorna and Peggy Carter looked at Ke Chen, who nodded.

He did not want to go all out. Otherwise, if he failed to sign in later, he would be finished.

After all, the system required him to conceal all of his strength and lay low in the Marvel Universe, though in reality, he had already been plenty arrogant...

Always keep something in reserve. That was Ke Chen's style.

Lorna immediately controlled herself and flew into the air as well.

She could control the things inside the Mirror Dimension too. The principle was the same.

"Make your move."

Professor X found Lorna rather strange.

Seeing Lorna raise steel and other objects with magnetic fields into the air, Professor X Charles said in a low voice, "Erik."

Just by seeing Lorna's ability, he thought of Magneto.

However, he was not sure whether Lorna had any connection to Magneto Erik.

Unless Lorna went to take a paternity test with Magneto.

Storm immediately controlled lightning and sent it crashing toward Lorna, who promptly blocked it with sheets of steel.

Though that would conduct the electricity, it could not hit her at all.

Under her control, Storm suddenly lost control of her own body and could only let Lorna manipulate her.

Magneto's power made him an Omega-level Mutant. Even if Lorna's ability was inferior to Magneto's, she was at least a Level Four Mutant.

Seeing Storm Ororo Munroe fall into difficulty, the other X-Men could no longer sit still.

Beast Hank McCoy immediately transformed and charged over.

Clearly, only one person remained at Ke Chen's side.

Besides, they still had some pride. This was merely an arranged fight, not a battle to the death, so it would not be right for them to take turns attacking Ke Chen.

Under Ke Chen's control, the ground beneath Captain Carter's feet suddenly rose.

Everything within the Mirror Dimension was under his control. Even high-speed trains could be manipulated at will by Ke Chen.

Captain Carter was lifted into the air and immediately leaped forward.

He swung the Vibranium Shield in his hand, and it shot out with a sharp whoosh.

Beast Hank McCoy could not dodge in time and could only take it head-on.

Hank's hands were nearly sliced open by the Vibranium Shield. Feeling his arms go numb, he had no choice but to exert himself again after his body had come to a halt!

After striking at an angle, the Vibranium Shield returned to Captain Carter's hand.

To use a shield well, he even had to learn geometry. It was truly hard on him.

"I don't like hitting women!"

Beast Hank McCoy leaped in front of him and shouted.

Hearing that, Captain Carter's expression turned somewhat cold.

If the Super-Soldier Serum had not altered Captain Carter's height, he probably would not even have been able to reach him.

Beast Hank McCoy had not expected the person before him to possess such tremendous strength and was knocked back several steps.

Then Captain Carter smashed the Vibranium Shield into his face and immediately followed up with a set of military combat punches.

It was only because Beast Hank McCoy was a Mutant whose talent lay in physical strength that he was not left unable to get back up after that series of military combat punches.

He shakily rose from the ground, looking at Captain Carter in surprise.

Captain Carter looked at him provocatively and said, "Come on. I can keep this up with you all day!"

"Enough!"

At that moment, Professor X shouted.

He felt that Captain Carter before him was just like Captain America Steve.

Ke Chen shook his head. "I can only tell you that Jean Grey is safe, and the Phoenix Force will no longer be her nightmare. This all started because of you, so stop making trouble."

Hearing Ke Chen's words, Professor X Charles felt somewhat bitter.

So, in Ke Chen's eyes, it had all been the result of him causing trouble.

That made him waver. If Jean Grey had accepted that mysterious power from the start, could things have turned out differently?

"I believe you. Since Jean Grey will get better, I won't look for her anymore."

Professor X Charles said this, and his entire body seemed to relax with relief.

He had sensed it in Jean Grey's mind: a power capable of destroying the world.

If it had been left unchecked, no one knew what insane things Jean Grey might have done.

Now that everything was fine, he relaxed as well.

Ke Chen dispelled the Mirror Dimension. The X-Men did not stay any longer, merely giving the group one deep look before leaving.
