Signing In for Two Years, the Life-Sharing Necklace

Spring gave way to autumn, and a year slowly passed.

Natasha and Yelena had both changed a little. They had grown taller; Yelena had become cuter, while Natasha had become cooler.

Natasha always kept her hair short and dyed, occasionally changing it to other flashy colors, though pale blue remained her favorite.

She also stopped letting Ke Chen pick her up. Every time, she rode her bicycle home herself.

Yelena, on the other hand, had become even more dependent on her godfather. She wanted him to pick her up and drop her off, or she would burst into tears.

This made Natasha constantly call her a crybaby.

It seemed Natasha thought her little sister was too childish and no longer liked playing with her...

"Little princess, eat slowly."

Ke Chen spoke to Yelena, who had burned her mouth.

She rushed out of the yard and ran straight into Ke Chen's courtyard.

Just then, Ke Chen opened the door. His expression was grave as he watched Natasha run over and throw herself into his arms.

"Godfather!"

Natasha said tearfully, "Will we be able to meet again?"

"We will, Natasha."

Ke Chen kissed her forehead and said, "You are braver than anyone could ever imagine."
