Keeping the Family Together

A long while later, Kara finally calmed down and gave Ke Chen a big hug. Alura could tell from this that there was something unusual between them.

"Thank you."

Kara thanked him sincerely, feeling that becoming friends with Ke Chen had been the best decision she had ever made.

"It's nothing, but your mother can't stay here. She has to leave with me."

Ke Chen spoke up. Alura had not expected that, but Kara did not mind. She knew what Ke Chen was doing. Just like Faora and the others, Ke Chen was gathering Kryptonians.

So Kara took the initiative to tell Alura that Ke Chen had established a new place for Kryptonians to live in another world. After giving it some thought, Alura decided to help Ke Chen.

In truth, refusing would not have done her any good. Ke Chen had brought her back because of Astra. How could he possibly let her run away?

Even without the experiences of those past decades, Astra and Alura still bore a grudge against each other. Before Krypton exploded, Alura had locked Astra in the Phantom Zone, which was why Astra had avoided Krypton's destruction.

Astra would not care which timeline Alura came from. The sisters were bound to clash. As always, Ke Chen loved watching women fight.

Afterward, Ke Chen and the other two flew back to Themyscira. Only then did Diana and the others meet Kara's mother.

Alura looked more like Kara's sister. Their features were strikingly similar, except Alura was more mature and alluring than Kara.

It was officially time to leave. God-King Hela did not want to remain there for even another second. In her words, she felt extremely unsafe.

Her power was weakening every moment, making Hela feel as though she had been locked inside a dimension
