After Youquan and the other two arrived in Suotuo City, they found an inn to rest in. Xiaoxiao and Ning Rongrong had been through too much that night. Though they still had many things they wanted to say to Youquan, she firmly made them rest first, telling them they could talk after they had recovered.
Early the next morning, Youquan got up and bought breakfast, intending to eat with Xiaoxiao and Ning Rongrong before discussing their trip to Spirit Hall Academy.
Yet no matter how long Youquan and Ning Rongrong waited, Xiaoxiao did not appear.
"Big Sister Youquan, why isn't Xiaoxiao here yet? Could that old bastard Flender have retaliated in the middle of the night? He couldn't afford to provoke you, a Spirit Hall elder, and he didn't dare offend the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, so he went after Xiaoxiao, who has no backing," Ning Rongrong analyzed, her face pale. It was not that she was maliciously speculating about Flender; what Flender and Shrek Academy had done was simply too disgusting.
"Don't worry. It won't come to that. Let's check Xiaoxiao's room first," Youquan hurriedly reassured her.
Youquan had confidence in her Soul Force. If Flender had come seeking revenge, there was no way she would not have noticed.
The two arrived outside Xiaoxiao's room. Youquan released her Soul Force and sensed Xiaoxiao's presence inside, along with intense fluctuations in her Soul Power. Only then did Youquan relax.
"Come on, Rongrong. Let's go back and have breakfast first. I probably won't be returning to Heaven Dou City for the time being," Youquan said to Ning Rongrong.
