"It's payment for our trouble taking them to the hospital." Lin Gongshang looked a little embarrassed. "I refused at the time, but they insisted, so I accepted it."
Lu Ao refused. "I can't accept payment I haven't earned. Help me return the money."
"You really won't take it? Didn't you arrange the helicopter, go to the hospital with them, and stay busy for most of the night?"

Lin Gongshang knew something of his personality. Seeing him insist, he did not try to persuade him further. "Then I'll return it later."
Lin Gongshang refunded Lu Ao for the helicopter rescue fee and the emergency treatment costs from when they had taken the men to the hospital. Once everything had been settled, he said, "They sent someone over yesterday to drive the car away too."
"Normal."
"Mr. Yan was asking where you'd gone."
"No need to mind him."
Lin Gongshang chatted with Lu Ao for a while. Seeing that he still had work to do, he took his leave and headed home first.
After his figure disappeared, Lu Ao suddenly sensed something unusual about the atmosphere outside the courtyard. Looking up, he saw Song Zhou standing beyond the gate with a basket in hand.
