Lu Ao checked the Coral after the typhoon, took anglers offshore, and joined UG Company’s Giant Kelp search, where his team discovered dugongs and manatees. After a dispute with UG Company and a run of bad luck for Old Luo, Lu Ao returned home, rescued Chubby from an Electric Ray, and joined Lin Gongshang for dinner.

• Lu Ao checked the Coral during the typhoon and found nearly all of it healthy, then agreed to consider UG Company’s request to search for Giant Kelp.
• Lu Ao helped Xie Lingxun’s group catch Giant Trevally over three days, then accepted UG Company’s proposal and finalized a contract.
• Lu Ao and Song Zhou adopted a puppy named Chubby, and Lu Ao joined Professor Zhou’s research team at the Giant Kelp Sea.
• Lu Ao led the divers to observe dugongs and manatees, reported the sightings to the authorities, and guided officials and researchers on survey dives.
• After UG Company’s representatives dominated the press coverage, Lu Ao ended his cooperation and accused Old Luo of scheming, while Old Luo and Zhou Mingyi suffered a series of mishaps.
• Song Zhou explained that Lu Ao’s Dragon words had catalyzed existing karma, and Lu Ao later revived Chubby after an Electric Ray shocked him in the river.

Lu Ao spent time at sea with Song Zhou, helped the volunteers find and capture an escaped Platypus, and accepted a conservation voyage to Antarctica. After leaving Song Zhou with matching rings, Lu Ao joined Lin Qiyan in Drake City to fish for King Crab, where he encountered an otter that wanted to follow him.

• Lu Ao fished with Lin Manzhang and Lin Qiyan, whose fans claimed all twenty seafood proxy-buying slots before they returned to the pier.
• Lu Ao and Song Zhou took a daylong trip at sea, watched Flying Fish, caught and cooked fish, and enjoyed the day together.
• Lu Ao joined the volunteers searching for the escaped male Platypus, tracked it to a burrow, and caught it for the zoo staff.
• Lu Ao turned down a role on an ocean conservation reality show and recommended Lin Qiyan, who was later accepted.

Lu Ao and Song Zhou explored the Antarctic sea and shore, meeting whales, orcas, and penguins while Lu Ao helped the animals and experienced the effects of worsening weather. The expedition continued without Song Zhou, and Lu Ao ended the stretch with him at a secluded hot spring.

• Lu Ao traveled to Antarctica aboard a research vessel, spotted a Blue Whale, and used his consciousness to stop it from following the ship.
• Lu Ao and Song Zhou teleported to an iceberg, swam with Blue Whale, and Lu Ao removed its barnacles and healed its wounds.
• Lu Ao and Song Zhou explored Antarctic waters, cleaned barnacles from Humpback Whales, and watched them clash with a pod of Orcas.
• Lu Ao and Song Zhou later rode with the Orcas toward shore, then Lu Ao joined the expedition team as it landed among Emperor and Adélie Penguins.
• Lu Ao joined another landing, where Adélie Penguins chased the director and surrounded Lu Ao before Southern Elephant Seals followed him until he told them to stop.
• Lu Ao and Lin Qiyan learned that an iceberg collapse had disrupted penguin foraging routes, and Song Zhou reassured Lu Ao about efforts to address the environmental problems.
• Lu Ao pushed away rain clouds that threatened the penguins, then skipped a group hot spring and teleported with Song Zhou to a secluded spring.
• Lu Ao and Song Zhou kissed and spent the night together in the hot spring, and Song Zhou carried the exhausted Lu Ao away.

After returning from Antarctica, Lu Ao pursued a Marine Ranch, overcame a rejected application by publishing research, and secured a fifty-year sea lease. He then went fishing with friends, caught a huge Miiuy Croaker that Weng Qian bought for 360,000, and prepared it with Song Zhou.

• Lu Ao returned home from Antarctica with Song Zhou, then began planning a Marine Ranch after learning that trawling had damaged Mingya Bay’s coral and seagrass.
• Lu Ao consulted Huang Ningna and Cao Zijun, toured an existing ranch, and searched many locations before choosing the deep waters outside Haining Mountain.
• Hou Mingzhi rejected Lu Ao’s first application, so Lu Ao gathered research and wrote an academic paper that Huang Ningna helped him revise and submit.
• After the paper was published, Hou Mingzhi approved Lu Ao’s application subject to ecological inspections, and Lu Ao obtained a discounted fifty-year sea lease.
• Lu Ao planned New Year preparations with Song Zhou, then borrowed Lin Manzhang’s boat and joined Lin Gongshang, Lin Guixiao, Tan Junhao, and Lin Qiyan on a fishing trip.
• The group watched Manta Rays, and Lu Ao hauled in a large catch before spotting and bringing aboard a recently dead Miiuy Croaker.
