Danzo's Evil Deeds

That tuft of white hair belonged to the teacher Danzo both feared and admired deeply—Tobirama Senju.

Had the plan failed?

Danzo did not dare meet Tobirama Senju's gaze. His formerly straight back slumped as though all the air had been let out of him.

On the other side, Tobirama Senju strode into the room and said, "Danzo, are you disappointed to see that your teacher isn't dead?"

At that moment, the atmosphere in the room turned exceptionally grim.

Behind Tobirama Senju, Namiashi Raidō and Iwashi Tatami stared wide-eyed. They could not believe that the person who had attempted to assassinate the Hokage was Elder Danzo.

After a long while, Danzo forcibly suppressed his fear and managed to squeeze out a smile. "Teacher, why would you say that? I've remained in the village and haven't gone out during this time, so I don't know much about what has happened outside. Please speak plainly, Teacher."

Tobirama was unsurprised to see Danzo stubbornly refusing to admit it. "Reverse Four Symbols Sealing Technique. Quite capable of you. I wonder when you trained these four?"

"What Reverse Four Symbols Sealing? Teacher, I don't know what you're talking about."

At this point, Shimura Danzō could never admit to having assassinated his own teacher. Otherwise, even if he died, everything he had done for Konoha would be erased. He would only be nailed to Konoha's pillar of shame as a rogue ninja.

Tobirama naturally understood what Danzo was thinking.

He chuckled softly. "Danzo, you've disappointed me greatly. I once thought you were merely half a step behind Hiruzen, that you still possessed the responsibility of a Hokage in your heart. But now it seems you're not even half the man Sarutobi is! You are not worthy of becoming Hokage!"

"No! How am I inferior to Hiruzen Sarutobi? Teacher, you're wrong!"

Tobirama Senju's words seemed to pierce Shimura Danzō's inner defenses. Shimura Danzō let out a hysterical roar.

"Danzo, do you think I don't know what you've done all these years after my death?"

"You established Root, scoured Konoha for talented members of ninja clans, brainwashed them, and used them to eliminate dissidents. You colluded with Orochimaru and secretly abducted villagers for human experiments!"

"Just because Konoha's White Fang, Hatake Sakumo, was beloved by the people, you feared he would threaten your dream of becoming Hokage, so you drove him to suicide!"

"You coveted the Uchiha clan's Kekkei Genkai and did not hesitate to kill my disciple—your teammate, Kagami Uchiha. You even killed Kagami's descendant, Shisui, and forced Itachi Uchiha to wipe out the entire Uchiha clan!"

"During the Nine-Tails Rebellion, you not only did nothing, but after the Fourth Hokage's sacrifice, you secretly spread rumors about the hero's son in an attempt to bring the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki under your control!"

"Danzo, you keep claiming it was all for Konoha. Were the things you did truly for Konoha, or for your own selfish desires?!"

With every accusation Tobirama Senju revealed, Shimura Danzō's face grew darker.

He did not know—he did not know how Tobirama Senju, a dead man, knew about these things. He had clearly done everything flawlessly!

"Curious how I know? Don't you know I'm dead? After those innocent people you persecuted died, they told me everything in the Netherworld. The fact that I didn't come settle accounts with you immediately was already mercy, Danzo!"

Tobirama Senju spoke righteously. As for the Netherworld he mentioned, he had naturally made it up. Although the world of Hokage did indeed have a Netherworld, once people died, their souls left their bodies and fell into slumber. Being in the Netherworld felt no different from sleeping, so how could they know anything about the outside world?

But that did not stop him from using this excuse to expose Danzo's deeds. It was not as though he had ever died.

"No, it's all fake! Everything I did was for Konoha. They all deserved to die. Teacher would support me! If you won't support me, then you're not my teacher. Teacher is already dead—who are you?!"

With all his evil deeds exposed by Tobirama, Shimura Danzō seemed to have fallen into madness, muttering endlessly to himself.

"Everything Lord Hokage said was true!"

The two ninja behind him paid no heed to Danzo's strange behavior, both lost in thought over the flood of dark secrets Tobirama had just revealed.

They had never expected Elder Danzo, who appeared so honorable and righteous before others, so devoted to serving Konoha, to have committed so many shameful deeds in private!

"Danzo, your farce ends here. In the name of the Second Hokage, Tobirama Senju, I declare Shimura Danzō's crimes unforgivable. He is hereby designated a rogue ninja and sentenced to immediate execution! I, Tobirama Senju, will carry it out personally!"

Tobirama Senju spoke the words Shimura Danzō feared most, designating him as a rogue ninja of Konoha.

As Tobirama finished speaking, he prepared to kill Danzo, the greatest blight, right then and there.

A sudden change occurred.

"You're not my teacher! I'll kill you, you vile scoundrel impersonating the Hokage!"

Shimura Danzō, seated inside the room, suddenly sprang into action.
