Qian Family and Rise to Pope

Bibi Dong was Qian Xunji’s disciple and the mother of his twins, Qian Renchu and Qian Renxue. Qian Xunji sexually assaulted her, a wrong that Qian Daoliu later acknowledges when questioning whether she deserves execution. Her attachment to Yu Xiaogang and resentment toward the Qian family persist into her papacy 17 18 20.

She devoured the severely wounded Qian Xunji with her second martial soul, opening the Rakshasa Secret Realm. Although the public believed Tang Hao had killed the former Pope, Bibi Dong was responsible for his death. Qian Daoliu knew of her actions but retained her because he valued her Twin Martial Souls, talent, and potential to lead Spirit Hall 6 17.

Bibi Dong repeatedly tried to kill Qian Renchu during his childhood; he also accuses her of trying to kill both twins from birth. Her rejection of Qian Renxue helped drive her daughter to undertake the Heaven Dou infiltration mission to prove her worth 6 7 28.

Qian Renchu’s Return

After seventeen years away, Qian Renchu returns to find Bibi Dong ruling Spirit Hall. She initially dismisses him as insignificant, then becomes visibly shaken when Chrysanthemum and Ghost Douluo report that he defeated several elders and consecrators. She relies on her Rakshasa inheritance and believes Spirit Hall cannot function without her 3 6 7.

At the Advanced Soul Master Elite Tournament finals, she intends to see Yu Xiaogang again. Seeing Liu Erlong beside him renews her jealousy and determination to destroy the Qian clan. She declares a massacre and summons Death Demon Spiders against guards and spectators. Qian Renchu destroys the spiders before they can harm the spectators, while Chrysanthemum and Ghost Douluo openly turn against her 18.
