Power Progression

Stage / Realm / Level Chapter Notes
God-level existence 58 During the Dragon God’s era, Di Tian possessed a divine body and god-level power.
Stripped of divine power 58 The God Realm deprived him of his divine power, reducing him to a soul beast below the godly realm.
Repeated breakthroughs → Beast God 58 59 Used the Dragon God’s Claw and its remaining Dragon God’s Power to rebuild his strength through successive breakthroughs. Reached the peak of Soul Power, but God Realm interference prevented him from becoming a god again.

Background / History

Di Tian lived during the era of the Dragon God and witnessed the ancient conflict involving the God Realm. He remembered the Destruction God King’s scepter and the deaths of countless dragons beneath its power. He also recognized the Life God King from the Primordial God War 58 59 60.

After losing his divine power, Di Tian rose again through the Dragon God’s Claw. He became the Beast God and ruler of the Star Dou Great Forest’s hidden Ferocious Beasts, remaining beneath Life Lake rather than walking the outside world for many years 54 58.

Di Tian and the other Beast Kings imprisoned the nearly million-year-old Sky Dream Ice Silkworm and drained its energy to improve their cultivation. Di Tian kept it alive because he regarded it as a continuing source of Soul Power 63.

Confrontation with Qian Renchu

Qian Renchu entered the Life Forbidden Zone intending to take Di Tian’s Soul Ring. After killing Scarlet King and defeating Xiong Jun, Zi Ji, and Myriad Demon King, he attempted to finish the three survivors. Their calls for help brought Di Tian and Bi Ji out through a spatial rift. Di Tian deflected the Destruction Spear with a giant dragon claw 54 55 56.

Di Tian first ordered Bi Ji to heal the injured beasts, but Qian Renchu immobilized her. His golden eye beams were consumed by Destruction Power, and his Space Soul Burst black hole was shattered by the Destruction Spear. Although he teleported away, he suffered serious injuries 57.

Revealing his Golden-Eyed Black Dragon King form, Di Tian fought with the Dragon God’s Claw and Black Dragon Sword simultaneously. He matched Qian Renchu’s two Martial Souls and believed his immense Soul Power reserves would win a prolonged battle. Qian Renchu then revealed the Destruction Scepter, struck Di Tian’s head, and sent him crashing into the forest 58 59.

Final Resistance and Death

Recognizing the Destruction God King’s power, Di Tian suspected that Qian Renchu had been sent to exterminate the soul beasts. Qian Renchu denied acting for his master or sect. Di Tian refused to summon Gu Yuena, knowing that doing so could expose the Silver Dragon King’s hiding place to the God Realm. He instead burned his life force and prepared to die together with Qian Renchu 59.

Gu Yuena considered rescuing him but withdrew when the Life God King descended. Di Tian abandoned his initial self-destruction attempt and tried to flee, only to be immobilized. His appeal to the God Realm’s prohibition on lower-realm interference failed. When he attempted self-destruction again, the Life God King sealed his Soul Power and divine abilities with chains of order 60.

Unable to resist, Di Tian begged for mercy. At the Life God King’s command, Qian Renchu pierced his heart with the Destruction Spear. His body subsequently burst apart, leaving a golden Soul Ring and two Soul Bones 60 61.

Appearance

Di Tian appears in human form as a burly man with black hair trailing to the ground. His true form is an enormous Golden-Eyed Black Dragon King 56 58.

  • Golden eyes capable of releasing destructive beams 57.
  • Black dragon scales, a draconic head, and powerful claws in his true form 58.
  • Enormous black wings that blot out the sun when spread 58.
  • Enlarged right claw carrying seven-colored Dragon God’s Power when using the Dragon God’s Claw 58.

Personality

Di Tian is proud of his ancient lineage and authority as Beast God. He dismisses Qian Renchu as a “puny human” and assumes that his accumulated experience and Soul Power will overcome the younger opponent. Nevertheless, he initially acts more deliberately than Xiong Jun, prioritizing treatment of the wounded beasts before continuing the confrontation 57 58 59.

His devotion to Gu Yuena outweighs his concern for his own survival. Even after defeat, he refuses to expose her because he considers her the soul beast race’s greatest hope. This loyalty coexists with an exploitative attitude toward weaker soul beasts, exemplified by his prolonged use of the Sky Dream Ice Silkworm as a cultivation resource 59 63.

His composure breaks before the Life God King’s overwhelming power. After failed attempts to escape and self-destruct, he pleads for his life 60.

Abilities & Skills

Spatial Power

Di Tian is a Spatial Attribute Dragon King whose attacks distort and tear the surrounding space 57.

  • Space Soul Burst — Creates a black hole roughly one hundred meters across that draws in attacks, lake water, dust, and sand 57.
  • Spatial movement — Emerges through a spatial rift and later teleports away from an incoming attack 56 57.
  • Limit — His black hole cannot absorb Qian Renchu’s Destruction Spear; the spear’s combined Destruction and Asura powers shatter it 57.

Dragon God’s Claw

A technique bestowed by the Dragon God, containing a remaining wisp of Dragon God’s Power. It also provided the foundation for Di Tian’s recovery after losing his divine power 58.

  • Enlarges his right arm and claw while releasing seven-colored energy 58.
  • Combines spatial power with Dragon God’s Power to produce a colossal dragon phantom and devastating claw strike 58.
  • Matches the Destruction Angel’s ninth Soul Skill, Destruction’s Sorrow: Sinful Judgment, during their clash 58.

Black Dragon Sword

The Black Dragon King Secret Art: Black Dragon Sword forms a ten-meter-long sword from Di Tian’s own spatial Soul Power 58.

  • Counters Qian Renchu’s enlarged Destruction Spear 58.
  • Can be maintained alongside the Dragon God’s Claw because of Di Tian’s enormous energy reserves 58.

Golden Eye Beams

Di Tian releases two immense golden beams from his eyes 57.

  • Pierce the void and expand to approximately ten meters in diameter before reaching their target 57.
  • Initially clash evenly with Qian Renchu’s Destruction Power, but are eventually consumed by it 57.

Soul Power Reserves and Physical Strength

Di Tian has accumulated Soul Power over countless millennia. Despite remaining below godhood, his internal energy is described as sufficient to make him a god ten times over 58 59 61.

  • Expects to outlast a human opponent in an endurance battle 59.
  • Previously defeated Xiong Jun so severely that the bear became his subordinate, though Xiong Jun’s claws had also wounded his dragon scales 55 56 61.
  • Is decisively overcome when Qian Renchu adds the Destruction Scepter to the battle 59.

Life-Force Burning and Self-Destruction

Di Tian ignites black flames infused with his life force to prepare a final, self-destructive attack 59.

  • Intends to kill Qian Renchu alongside himself rather than accept defeat 59.
  • Cannot complete the attack after the Life God King seals his power and meridians 60.

Relationships

  • Gu Yuena / Silver Dragon King — His hidden superior and the soul beast race’s hope. He protects her location even when facing death; she praises his loyalty and briefly considers rescuing him 58 59 60.
  • Dragon God — Bestowed the Dragon God’s Claw, whose residual power enabled Di Tian’s later breakthroughs 58.
  • Bi Ji — Accompanies him into battle and serves as healer for his wounded subordinates 56 57.
  • Xiong Jun — A subordinate previously subdued by Di Tian. Calls upon him for rescue after losing to Qian Renchu 56 61.
  • Zi Ji — A Ferocious Beast under his command; relies on his protection and protests when he prepares to self-destruct 56 59.
  • Myriad Demon King — A subordinate who invokes Di Tian’s authority and calls for help against Qian Renchu 56.
  • Scarlet King — Defends Di Tian’s authority against the intruders. His death prompts Di Tian to confront Qian Renchu 54 57.
  • Sky Dream Ice Silkworm — Captive whose energy Di Tian and the other Kings drained to strengthen themselves 63.
  • Qian Renchu — Enemy who seeks his Soul Ring, defeats him with the Destruction Scepter, and ultimately kills him 54 59 60.
  • Life God King — Ancient God Realm enforcer who prevents his escape and self-destruction, then orders his execution 60.

Ultimate Space Control System reward granted to Qian Renchu for destroying Di Tian, identified as an inheritor of the Dragon God 61.
  • Di Tian’s death removes the surviving Ferocious Beasts’ protection. Xiong Jun, Zi Ji, Bi Ji, and Myriad Demon King immediately kneel and seek mercy from Qian Renchu 61.
