"Ah! Someone actually started a Mana Bomb forum so quickly!"
"I wonder how many fellow enthusiasts will like this!"
"Mana Bombs, the romance of mages alone!"
"Nonsense, this is the romance of nobles too! I've already purchased several thousand!"
"Mana Bombs are Magitech Devices?! So they were created by the Technology God!"
"Come to think of it, Mana Bombs really are different from traditional magical items. So this is a new path opened by a god!"
Not long after Wild Mage created the "Mana Bomb Forum," it gathered quite a crowd.
That was hardly surprising. Recently, Mana Bombs had performed exceptionally well.
From low-level mages venturing out to explore, to the Northlands fighting armies of White Walkers; from a single Mana Bomb saving someone's life, to tens of thousands of Mana Bombs flying through the air... every one of those events had stirred up every Magic Space user.
Almost everyone could find a situation where Mana Bombs would be useful.
To put it bluntly, Mana Bombs were practically an extra life for everyone!
Yet most people had not realized their greatest peculiarity, much less that they were creations of the Technology God...
But upon thinking it over, it seemed reasonable.
How could a god who had launched the Magic Internet alongside the Magic Goddess possibly lack other influence?
This revelation did not surprise many mages.
Instead, quite a few people entering the forum vaguely felt that the times might be changing!
If Magitech Devices were not limited to Mana Bombs alone...
Watching the crowd in the forum he had created grow larger and larger, Wild Mage discussed it with Viscount Rost, then directly posted about the Self-Charging Magic Array and recruiting mages, pinning and featuring the post!
Naturally, the information on the Self-Charging Magic Array recorded in the post remained extremely incomplete. Even a Legendary Mage would find it nearly impossible to replicate it based on that information alone. Still, anyone who understood some of the deeper principles of magic would surely recognize how extraordinary it was!
"? Self-charging?!"
"Has the poster gone mad? How could something like that possibly exist!"
"As everyone knows, charging can only be done by magical creatures, and that is also the most difficult part of producing Mana Bombs."
"The poster is actually the forum moderator?! Could it be that you created the Mana Bomb Forum to scam people? Damn it, I should've registered it first! Magic Goddess above, is there any way to replace this forum moderator?"
"I remember seeing similar information somewhere else before. A Legendary Mage firmly declared that it could never succeed, and said that if it did, he would use Sludge Monster droppings as a face mask!"
To the mages of this era, the Self-Charging Magic Array was something that overturned everything they thought they knew.
Just as Wild Mage had once been ostracized in the royal capital, the post immediately drew plenty of ridicule after being published.
Even those without malicious intent said they simply could not believe it.
"Mr. Wild Mage, this only proves that they are short-sighted..." Viscount Rost said hurriedly as he watched the posts keep appearing.
"I don't mind." Wild Mage smiled and waved a hand. "In fact, I knew from the beginning that this would happen."
Seeing the surprise in Viscount Rost's eyes, Wild Mage continued, "As long as one person believes, as long as one person is willing to join our cause, isn't that already a success?"
"Yes! As long as one person is willing, then it has value." Viscount Rost murmured blankly. "I was being narrow-minded."
Being around a comrade like Wild Mage did not require Viscount Rost to speak in the lofty, drawn-out manner he used around other nobles. That made her feel quite comfortable.
"Look, someone has already sent me a Private Chat. In the end, there are still people who can determine from a few words that our plan is truly feasible." A broad smile appeared on Wild Mage's face.
He had always believed that this path would never be lonely!
"Alright, I'm leaving matters in this area entirely to you. My only requirement is that the Self-Charging Magic Array must not spread in the short term. We'll spread it after we've made our preparations!" Viscount Rost nodded slightly. "Also, I came today to tell you that tomorrow, I will bring Mana Bombs to meet the Hand of the Kingdom!"
At nearly the same time.
In the royal capital.
"Boss, after we get back from this mission, we should have saved enough money, right?" An adventuring party that looked somewhat like mercenaries, yet consisted entirely of genuine superhumans, walked along Starlight Avenue as one companion asked with a smile.
"Yes!" Destructive Fist Eddie could not help revealing an eager expression, letting out an odd laugh. "Kakaka, once we finish this job, we'll be able to afford a ship."
About ten years ago, their adventuring party had discovered a treasure map in some ruins. But to obtain the treasure, they had to sail out and search for a distant island. Over the years, they had poured nearly all their energy into this matter, and success was close at hand.
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's hurry and set off!" The party members immediately grew excited.
"What's the rush? The birthplace of the Magic Net Ring is right on this street. I heard they have plenty of Mana Bombs too. Let's buy some."
Destructive Fist Eddie had not become the party leader through sheer recklessness. "You're all veterans of the trade. Don't you know that things always tend to go wrong at times like this? 'After this job, I'll go home and get married.' 'After this job, I'll buy you this or that.' 'After this job, things will be different.' How many seniors said things like that and never came back?"
What kind of logic was that?
Every party member looked utterly baffled.
But after thinking it over, quite a few seniors they knew really had met their downfall that way.
Hiss—
They really could not afford to be careless!
They said that throwing a single Mana Bomb was equivalent to casting a top-tier low-level instant spell.
Buying ten or twenty of them was indeed a good idea.
After all, if they completed this job, the rewards would be enormous!
"Boss! Excuse me... where's your boss?" Destructive Fist Eddie entered Hedy's magic shop, the "Magic Web Service Hall." Just as he was about to call out, he saw a young girl carefully wiping down a... coffin, and could not help freezing.
Who put a coffin inside their shop for no reason?
That was far too unlucky... Destructive Fist Eddie was just about to complain when he remembered that the owner here was said to be Hedy the Coffin Bearer. It seemed that everyone who came here knew that.
"I should be asking that. What do you need? Are you here for Magic Net Rings? Only mages can use Magic Net Rings, so you might..."
Hedy carefully examined the man before her, her expression somewhat suspicious.
He was broad and muscular, with brown skin and messy short hair. A bear tattoo was etched onto his body, and he carried a greatsword nearly two meters long. He wore what looked like mercenary clothing, but Hedy could tell it was magical equipment with extremely strong defenses. Yet no matter how she looked at him, he did not resemble a mage at all.
