Background / History

The Magic Goddess is revered as the God of All Magic and the Lady of Mysteries. Legend identifies her as the mentor of the world’s first dragon and elf. She was the first being to create magic and rules over mana itself. 1 67

Before becoming a deity, she taught that “knowledge is power” and regarded gods as merely stronger scholars. This philosophy shaped her relationship with spellcasters: mages respected her teachings and mysteries, but few became genuine believers. Her Divine Kingdom consequently suffered a critical Faith Power shortage, weakening its protective barrier. 1

The laws of marriage led the recently sacrificed Roger to her Divine Kingdom, where she accepted him as her husband. Much later, she reveals that the War God ordered Roger’s father to sacrifice him because of Roger’s mortal bloodline, while the Marriage Goddess diverted him from the War God’s Divine Kingdom. 60

Rather than build a conventional priesthood, she supported Roger’s plan to spread Magic Net Rings and the Magic Web among spellcasters. She is highly analytical and adaptable. Rather than merely accepting Roger’s engineering ideas, she improves them with runic solutions, such as replacing an expensive Mana Engine stabilizer with refined iron inscribed with Energy-Storage, Energy-Release, and Sensing Runes. 69
