The Magitech Medical Laboratory established a factory that mass-produced Light Holy Water, surprising Roger and the Magic Goddess as they considered how to scale up the Nature God's Druid Potions. In the Southlands, factory experts and Light God priests celebrated production levels that dwarfed the church's previous output.
A high-ranking priest questioned the decision to sell Holy Water, but a factory manager and technician explained how open sales could support production and spread faith in the God of Light. After learning Holy Water could heal wounds without leaving scars, the manager changed the promotional plan and sent for the Church of Love and Beauty’s help.
The Church of the Light God and the Church of Love and Beauty partnered to promote holy water as a scar-removal treatment, and the druids worried that they were already falling behind. The chapter ended with a human druid demanding that the Elf name which medicine they should develop first.
The Nature God’s revelation inspired druids to mass-produce a widely useful potion, while churches across the continent began establishing factories after seeing the success of Light Holy Water. Roger explained to the Magic Goddess that church-led industrialization would persuade kingdoms to embrace factories, leaving the Magitech Industrialization plan poised to spread.
Viscount Rost’s preparations and the churches’ success accelerated industrial reform, while Dragon Island’s lenders used the boom to move toward credit currency and gather precious metals. By the time the first Ultra-High-Speed Rail Transit System was completed, its route had attracted nine thousand large factories, and Viscount Rost was traveling to the Golden City.
Viscount Rost arrived in the Golden City for the inauguration of a continent-spanning ultra-high-speed railway built in just half a year with the help of mages and other supernatural beings. As the gathered leaders considered expanding the rail network, Emmett learned that paid laborers could make his factory far more productive than slaves.
Emmett learned that paid workers could greatly outperform slaves and began considering selling his slaves to expand his factory. A Technology God Church cleric then discussed business opportunities created by the new rail line, and Viscount Rost arrived as the opening ceremony was about to begin.
Viscount Rost celebrated the new ultra-high-speed rail system connecting the continent’s southernmost point to Watcher's Wall. A Magic Net update introduced ticketing, a developer platform, and a function repository, leaving the crowd stunned by the new ability to create, remove, and download functions.
Viscount Rost explained how the Developer Hall let people create Magic Net functions and earn money, then demonstrated the Ticketing Function at the Ultra-High-Speed Rail Transit System’s opening ceremony. The guests boarded the train to experience the service, and Rost showed them the spacious, rune-equipped business-class carriage, whose tickets cost three to five times more than ordinary seats.
Viscount Rost described the business-class carriage as a place where influential passengers could meet and discuss cooperation, and he considered suggestions for luxury and entertainment services. The Ultra-High-Speed Rail Train then began its journey, impressing its passengers with its speed, comfort, and punctual schedule, while Magic Net users turned their attention to two new functions.
The Magic Net’s newly public development tools inspired Master Karl to plan an Invention Generator, while Audrey recognized an opportunity for the Church of Love and Beauty but could not decide what to create. She sought advice from Megan and learned that Megan was organizing a team to develop a news function despite the Magic Net already having one.
Newsbird Megan explained her plan to replace Magic Net’s declining news feature with personalized Headlines, while gods grew eager to develop features that could earn them faith. Gardening God wondered whether a tool for generating home designs could attract enough prayers.
The Gardening God launched the Gardening Generator, while the first Ultra-High-Speed Rail Train arrived in Wolf General's territory and showed nobles how quickly travel and trade could change. Viscount Rost faced calls to issue more bonds and build several rail routes at once.
Viscount Rost faced strong pressure from nobles to issue a second round of bonds and expand the Ultra-High-Speed Rail Transit System. A powerful mage family offered thousands of mages and a billion gold coins, leaving Rost more confident about the second phase while mindful of limited professionals.
The Gardening Generator drew widespread attention after nobles and ordinary Magic Net users used it to create garden designs, and the new feature made the gods envy the Gardening God’s success. The Wisdom God began searching for an idea of His own while the Hunting God quickly saw ways to gain faith from the changes.
Hunting God laid out plans for several Magic Net functions focused on hunting, including a beast encyclopedia, a map, a guild bounty board, and simulated hunting. He left the Divine Spirits responsible for developing the ideas, emphasizing that simulated hunting could attract especially widespread faith.
After Hunting God’s Simulated Hunting feature inspired Roger to plan more Magic Net games, Wool Ryan proposed a virtual ranch game to the Shepherd Pope. The Pope let him pursue it, but Wool Ryan still needed funds to hire developers.
The Magic Net update boosted activity among the gods, while the first Rail Transit system faced rapidly rising demand. Viscount Rost ordered more trains and factory output, and approved refrigerated freight cars as the company prepared to expand its services.
As industrialization transformed the continent, William asked Viscount Rost to fund the expansion of his Magic Net food-delivery service. North of Watcher's Wall, the White Walkers surged toward the Technology God Church's positions, signaling that the final battle had begun.
The Technology God Church fought off repeated White Walker assaults until a flight tech battle priest discovered that the enemy had gathered for a final offensive and located the White Walker King. After the priest marked the King’s position for a heavy strike, Wolf General called Viscount Rost, who had just invested in William’s company.
After the White Walker King was killed, Wolf General proposed that Viscount Rost establish settlements and an economic system north of Watcher's Wall while clearing out the scattered White Walkers. News of the victory spread across the continent, and people began debating whether to settle there as merchants prepared to act.
Over several years, settlements, trade, and rail construction expanded north of Watcher's Wall, while the population and Magic Net usage grew. The story shifted to an emergency in the Tulip Kingdom, where five reconnaissance aircraft were attacked near the rift and Lava General called a combat meeting.
The gods crossed the widening rift into another world and learned from Lady Dream that Pain had turned it into a source of suffering, sending monsters to other planets. They fought Pain for nearly half a month and sealed her, but the Life God said they might need to reduce the world's pain to defeat her completely.
Pain World industrialized and connected with the primal world, becoming prosperous under the Technology God Church’s development. After confirming the world could advance on its own, Roger and the Magic Goddess left their work behind to enjoy mortal life and went to Rost Territory to watch a movie.
