Kizaru was dumbfounded. "What... captain? You actually have a captain? Aren't you Red the Aloof? You refused to join anyone and lived by your creed of solitude. How do you have a captain now?"
Kizaru could hardly believe it. If someone as terrifying as the man before him found a crew, who could possibly stand against him? Patrick Redfield alone had been able to stand on equal footing with Roger and Whitebeard!
Patrick Redfield chuckled, glanced at the sea, and said, "Oh... trying to stall until Garp and the others arrive? Sorry, but I have a captain now, and crewmates. Even a one-on-one fight requires my captain's approval. Recklessly putting myself in danger would give him quite a headache!"
The vice-captain
Golden light flickered as Kizaru stood in the sky, wary. Patrick Redfield was far too powerful. A man who had once single-handedly defeated Kong, the commander-in-chief, was no ordinary opponent. At the very least, Kizaru could sense that Patrick Redfield was capable of killing him.
Light shimmered all over Kizaru as he looked at Patrick Redfield. "Someone capable of becoming your captain... could it be that man?"
Patrick Redfield nodded. "Indeed... in this world, only that man could be my captain. Only the man who set this era ablaze deserves that position. I, Red the Aloof, am the vice-captain of the Ren Pirates. You Marine scum had better brace yourselves for our arrival! The New World is about to reach its most glorious climax! Hahaha..."
As he spoke, the wings on Patrick Redfield's back beat once, and he vanished in a streak of light. Kizaru's eyes widened. "So fast!"
In an instant, Patrick Redfield swept past Kizaru with a mocking look, then disappeared in a streak of light.
"Phew..." Kizaru exhaled, his eyes unusually grave. "What a monster.
