Momousagi's face fell. She realized her voice wasn't carrying at all. She could even see her adjutant staring at her in confusion!
Momousagi fell silent, then turned to Ren. "You're controlling my voice?"
"I've turned sixteen and taken on the identity of the young master to make things easier for myself," Ren said. "So I can't reveal who I really am yet. I hope you understand!"
He spoke as if it were nothing. With a gentle tug of his arm, he sent Momousagi flying into his embrace!
Momousagi still couldn't resist him. All she could do was glare at him with hatred. "Let me go!"
Ren shook his head. "I can't do that. You've discovered who I really am, so I can't let you leave. If word gets out, a lot of things will become difficult!"
"You bastard... Let me go if you've got the guts!" Momousagi roared. Furious, she wanted to bite him to death!
Ren merely gave her an easy smile. "Don't worry. Stay with me, and you won't have to concern yourself with the Navy's affairs or chasing pirates. All you need to do is smile and chat with me every day. Of course, we could turn some of those rumors about us into reality. We've been tangled up with each other for years. Isn't it time we settled things, Momousagi?"
He lifted Momousagi into his arms, lowered his head, and gazed deep into her eyes!
