Background / History
Dijun originated from the Solar Star during the Desolate Era. To survive a devastating Heavenly Tribulation, he severed part of his Solar Origin and transformed early. After surviving Shen Ni’s destruction of the Innate Lifeforms only through Wangshu’s sacrifice and the Chaos Bell, he returned to the Solar Star, planted the Fusang Tree, and used it to nourish his damaged Origin and consciousness. The severed Origin later developed sentience and transformed into Taiyi, whom Dijun named and made his “younger brother.” 1961
After Dongwanggong’s death, Dijun absorbed much of his territory and resources, established the Demon Race, and used its accumulated Destiny to strengthen himself and Taiyi. He became the Heavenly Emperor, naming Taiyi Eastern Emperor, Fuxi Xi Emperor, Nuwa Wa Emperor, and Kunpeng Demon Teacher. 1935
Dijun’s rise depended not only on imperial authority but also on the cultivation systems, divine abilities, and formations he deduced through the Hetu Luoshu Diagram. His contributions won the loyalty of many powerful demon clans, though his suppression of Kunpeng and manipulation of rival Demon Emperors created enduring internal resentment. 1933 1939 1940
Before the Demon Court’s collapse, Dijun secretly relocated resources, cultivated hidden forces, and arranged his own apparent death. His original plan was to revive after the Primordial World weakened enough for him to pursue becoming a Chaos Demon God, but changing conditions forced him to return earlier than intended. 2004
His resurrection became public when he spoke through the Chaos Bell and divided Northern Jambudvipa with Jiang Chen: the Undead Race would control the north, while the Demon Race retained the south. He killed Quasi-Saint challengers through the bell rather than revealing his physical condition. 1928
Appearance
Dijun appears as an imposing, imperial figure whose presence carries scorching Solar power and overwhelming authority. His bearing is described as majestic even when he is silent. 1960
- Golden robe embroidered with Golden Crow patterns and ten thousand demons bowing in worship. 1960
- Imperial crown and golden, swordlike brows. 1960
- Sharp golden eyes that radiate intense heat and pressure. 1960
- Often surrounded by solar flames, giving him the presence of a descending great sun. 2133
Personality
Dijun is calculating, patient, and intensely possessive of what he considers his. He views power, status, and even Taiyi’s existence as things he granted and therefore retains the right to control. His belief that “only what I give you is yours” defines his relationship with Taiyi and exposes his extreme sense of entitlement. 1961
As an emperor, he prioritizes long-term stability and hidden preparations over sentiment. He can pardon weakened demon races, massacre traitorous ones for political effect, abandon armies that no longer serve his goals, and retreat from battle when concealment is more valuable than victory. 2004 2047
Dijun respects genuine strength and strategic ability, even in enemies. He came to recognize Ren as an equal, praised Ruthless after she wounded him, and acknowledged Emperor Zun as worthy of the imperial surname. 2107 2134 2139
Abilities & Skills
Solar Flame Great Dao
Dijun comprehended the Flame Great Dao from a fragment of the Creation Jade Butterfly and refined part of the Solar Star’s Origin into himself. While on the Solar Star, he can wield Primordial Unity-level power; away from it, he retains Half-Step Primordial Unity strength. 1498
