He lay back down and adjusted himself into a comfortable position.
"Those people from the Specialist Association picked it up from the Chimera Ruins. Its parent came looking for it, so they returned it to its rightful owner. Perfectly natural."
Bai Zhu made it sound trivial, as if he were talking about some neighborhood squabble.
Ging's brows furrowed. Of course, he didn't believe it was that simple. "Its parent? That thing..."
"Whether it's the parent or not, go ask it yourself." Bai Zhu raised a hand to cut him off. "Or go ask Pariston. His team brought that thing out, so he should know what's going on. Aren't you both Zodiacs? Communicate internally. It'll improve work efficiency."
With one sentence, he kicked the ball straight to Pariston.
Ging was left speechless for quite a while. Everyone in the Association knew about his relationship with Pariston. Asking him to find Pariston would be worse than asking him to reason with that giant octopus from earlier.
