Unma's chest rose and fell once.
"How much do you want?"
"Three hundred billion Jenny."
A guard immediately stepped forward half a pace.
"That's impossible!"
Morel did not look at him.
"Compensation for Bai Zhu, Piyu's rescue expenses, the Association's losses, plus the cost of sealing off the experimental data for you."
"For every item you leave out, another portion of the data gets released."
Unma pressed a hand against the table.
"The Royal Family can currently mobilize, at most, two hundred billion."
Morel rose and turned to leave.
He had originally only planned to negotiate for one hundred and fifty billion.
Unma had volunteered two hundred billion. The deal was already done. But that kid Bai Zhu was waiting outside, and he could hardly tell him that he had failed to hold even his opening price.
"Stop him!"
The black armor instantly blocked the door, layers of plates locking together.
Morel did not slow his steps.
The wisp of smoke at the end of his pipe suddenly swelled, and a gigantic fist crashed down from the ceiling.
Boom!
A large section of the black armor caved in at its center.
The blow had avoided every guard, but the one closest to Unma was shoved by the air pressure into the edge of the table.
A second smoke fist had already formed above the door.
"Two hundred and fifty billion!"
Morel stopped.
"Also, settle the remaining balance from the previous installment purchases of Bai Zhu's blood in full."
"Fine."
Unma gritted her teeth.
"Hand over the memory card."
"It's not over yet."
Morel turned around.
"Destroy the existing blood samples, stop pursuing Bai Zhu's destruction of Royal Family facilities, and relinquish all ownership rights to the experimental results."
"That batch of blood has already been used in Royal Family research."
