Milluki immediately stuffed a small stack of chips into his hand.
"Don't lose them all too quickly."
Bai Zhu sat down at a Big/Small table.
The dealer glanced at him.
"Please place your bet, sir."
Bai Zhu casually pushed his chips onto "Small."
Milluki hurriedly whispered, "The last round was Small. Based on the trend, this one will most likely be—"
Bai Zhu moved the chips over to "Big."
Milluki froze.
"What are you doing?"
"Going against it."
"Against what?"
"Against you."
Milluki nearly died of anger.
The dealer opened the cup.
"Three, five, six. Big."
Milluki was stunned.
Bai Zhu was stunned too.
The dealer pushed the chips back to him.
Bai Zhu frowned at the extra chips in front of him.
"Something's wrong."
Milluki immediately perked up.
"Keep going! Keep going!"
The second round.
Milluki said, "I think this one's Small."
Bai Zhu said, "Then I'll bet Big."
The cup was opened.
Big.
The third round.
Milluki said, "This one's definitely Big."
Bai Zhu said, "Small."
The cup was opened.
Small.
The fourth, fifth, and sixth rounds.
Bai Zhu bet against Milluki every time.
He won them all.
More and more people gathered around to watch the excitement.
Milluki went from excited, to dumbfounded, to doubting himself.
"No, am I really this unlucky?"
Bai Zhu's expression was none too pleasant as he looked at the pile of chips on the table.
"I didn't come here to win money today."
The dealer was replaced.
After the new dealer came up, Bai Zhu simply stopped listening to Milluki.
He closed his eyes and tossed down chips at random.
The cup was opened.
He won.
He tossed down more chips.
He won again.
By the eighth round, sweat had already appeared on the dealer's forehead.
Milluki gripped the back of his
