Personality

Milluki is socially inexperienced, irritable, and intensely protective of his possessions. Having spent much of his time isolated on Kukuroo Mountain playing games, he initially has little idea how to handle Bai Zhu’s forced familiarity or provocations. He is proud of being a Zoldyck and reacts badly when outsiders pry into his family’s work. 1

His technical brilliance is paired with an otaku’s enthusiasm for elaborate machinery, visual spectacle, and destructive prototypes. He treats his inventions as premium products even when their instructions are incomplete, their safety margins are questionable, or they have a fifty-percent failure rate. 25 35 37

Beneath his insults, Milluki repeatedly demonstrates concern for Illumi, Ella, and Bai Zhu. He panics when Illumi signals danger, prepares medical support for Ella, treats Bai Zhu’s injuries, and entrusts Bai Zhu with costly weapons and battlefield support. 14 21 32 35

Although cowardly and quick to complain about expenses, he becomes focused, decisive, and unusually quiet when working on a serious technical problem. During the Oasis expedition, he explicitly invokes his professional Hunter status and argues that preparation, logistics, equipment, and family connections are meaningful forms of strength. His attachment to his possessions can override his reluctance to travel. After Bai Zhu steals his equipment and figures, Milluki immediately arranges an airship to Lokario, insists he is only retrieving stolen property, and pursues Bai Zhu physically upon arrival. The City of Hunger crisis exposes a colder side of Milluki’s Zoldyck upbringing. Creation Society Investigation

Milluki first appears in Sankara Town while recovering a mechanical cockroach from a fountain near the Creation Society church. Bai Zhu recognizes him as a Zoldyck, provokes him into revealing his name, and discovers that he and Illumi are investigating the organization. Milluki responds to Bai Zhu’s probing with Nen and claws before Illumi stops him. 1

At the church, Milluki deploys metal insects to scout the congregation and later joins Bai Zhu and Illumi in observing the abnormal Nen possessed by children and unborn fetuses. He contributes surveillance technology while remaining wary of Bai Zhu’s unpredictable behavior. 3 4

Farmhouse and Underground Operation

Milluki tracks Pige Aaron and Ella to a farm using a device he secretly planted on Bai Zhu. He then transports the group in his customized sedan and supports Bai Zhu’s farmhouse infiltration with upgraded Mechanical Spiders. 5 6

Once Illumi impersonates Ella to enter the Creation Society facility, Milluki becomes the operation’s remote coordinator. He manages surveillance feeds, receives Illumi’s coded warnings, equips Bai Zhu with explosive scouts, and helps direct the surface sabotage intended to expose the underground ritual. 13 14 15

Defense of Ella

Milluki monitors Ella’s condition after she becomes bait for the Creation Society. He installs a Mechanical Spider in her collar to track her vital signs and threatens to sedate her if she attempts a reckless rescue. 20

As the Black Crystal reaction worsens, he uses a spider to administer stabilizers, deploy smoke and flash devices, and keep Ella alive while Bai Zhu delays the cultists. His harsh words contrast with his urgent efforts to protect her. 21 23

Holy Knight Hunt

After the Creation Society dispatches Holy Knights to find Bai Zhu, Milluki wakes the injured Bai Zhu with an electric spider and assigns him the role of bait. He provides six Exploding Beetles while warning that their use in town could endanger civilians. 35

During the forest pursuit, Milluki guides Bai Zhu through enemy formations, analyzes the Black Crystal weapons, and eventually triggers explosive traps that devastate the Holy Knights’ forces. He later unveils a larger hidden arsenal of Mechanical Bees and Earthworms, breaking the Black Crystal Formation surrounding Bai Zhu. 36 37 39 40

Rescue Attempt and Bankai Assault

Milluki supports the rescue of Number Nineteen and the escape from the woman in white, driving his modified car under sustained Black Crystal attacks. He deploys Interference Bees, decoys, and bridge explosives, but recognizes that the enemy’s tracking methods exceed ordinary Nen concealment. 46 47 48

His earlier reconnaissance establishes that Mechanical Spiders stop functioning within twenty meters of the woman in white. Unable to identify her through his database, he urgently warns Bai Zhu against approaching her and prioritizes his survival over completing the rescue at any cost. 43

Although he initially argues for retreat and contacting the Zoldyck family, Milluki ultimately drives Bai Zhu back toward the church to save Ella and Illumi. He carries Bai Zhu’s speaker, activates the requested music, and follows him into the church after Bai Zhu releases Minazuki. 48 49 50

After the cult is destroyed, Milluki participates in the negotiation over the Red-Black Core. His accidental disclosure that the Zoldycks expected such an object contributes to Bai Zhu demanding five billion Jenny and three Zoldyck services before surrendering it. 54 56

Hunter Exam and Kik Port

Stimulated by the Creation Society operation, Milluki secretly leaves home and reunites with Bai Zhu at Kik Port. He claims that Bai Zhu owes him assistant fees, emotional-damage compensation, and wages, though his purported agreement contains no enforceable terms. 61

He accompanies Bai Zhu through a casino incident under the alias “Milluki Jerba,” inadvertently concealing their Zoldyck protection and making the casino willing to threaten them. Afterward, he removes tracking data and disrupts the casino’s systems to delay pursuit. 64 66

Milluki becomes fascinated with Bai Zhu’s attempt to name his Zanpakutō. He prepares the ritual space, secretly tries to record it, witnesses the citywide blackout caused by Ryujin Jakka’s awakening, and remains frustrated when Bai Zhu refuses to reveal the sword’s name. 66 67 68

Old Trench Expedition

Milluki joins Morel’s expedition toward the Old Trench after presenting upgraded Mechanical Mosquitoes and a Signal Hub Dragonfly. He identifies himself to Morel as a Zoldyck and reveals Compression Space when questioned about how he transports his equipment. 74 76

He builds a marine reconnaissance force suited to the Old Trench, including Carapace Fish, Relay Rays, sonar buoys, Lionfish, and Black Gold-coated Deep-Sea Mechanical Fish. Because local sea creatures react strongly to Nen, he relies on Bai Zhu’s Reiatsu to power the machines instead. 79 95 98

When Bai Zhu is trapped in a black sphere, Milluki monitors both the sphere and an injured man moving through underground pipes. Camilla enters his suite and identifies the man as a defected researcher who stole experimental cargo.
