Gol did not answer Kyros's question at all. He charged at Kyros again and again without pause.

The Kingdom of Dressrosa had no experts proficient in Armament Haki, so when the Donquixote Family invaded, the kingdom could not organize any effective resistance or countermeasures. They were completely toyed with by the Donquixote Family.
Meanwhile, the Donquixote Family had Lao G and the four top executives, so their inheritance was extremely effective. Whether it was Law, Dellinger, or Baby-5, they could all receive physical training. Given time, they would surely step through the door to Haki.
But Kyros had none of that. Though he possessed the strength to defeat one of the top executives, he still did not know Armament Haki.

He had always wanted to do this. He wanted to capture Kyros and Rebecca, send them to Marine Headquarters, directly provoke a conflict between the Revolutionary Army and the Marines, and use the Marines' power to exact revenge on the Revolutionary Army.
