Homecoming and Arrangements

The days of training at Wing's place were finally coming to an end. Wing's "training" had lasted for a full five days, and from Nen Power training to the explanation of theoretical knowledge, it benefited everyone immensely. Ryan sometimes thought, If I had just trained according to what the anime covered, I wonder how long I'd be fumbling around. Real-life training was definitely much harder than watching anime, which made one realize just how great Gon's and Killua's talents were. From the four basic principles to the advanced applications of Nen, Wing taught meticulously and rigorously.

That afternoon, the setting sun slanted into the room, and Ryan took off his weighted bands, standing on the wooden floor with his muscle contours clearly outlined by the evening light. He bowed to Wing and said, "Mr. Wing, I've decided to leave tomorrow, head home for a bit, and then go on an independent journey. Thank you for your careful guidance lately."

Wing seemed to have anticipated this, nodding gently. "That's fine too. You've completely mastered Nen training, and staying here is no longer necessary. You can't just work behind closed doors, and your judgment is right."

Early the next day, the three of them came to Wing's house for training as usual, but Ryan appeared carrying his travel backpack.

"Gon, Killua, I'm leaving first."

"Eh? Where are you going?" Gon looked surprised, while Killua frowned. "You're not planning to challenge the 200th floor?"

"There's no need. I need to go out and train alone to find another way to grow." Ryan smiled. "I've decided to go home and then set off on a new journey."

The three of them stood outside Wing's door. The morning breeze blew. "September, Yorknew." Ryan extended his fist.

Gon and Killua bumped fists almost simultaneously. "See you
