The Island of Stealth

Night gradually descended over the island.

Ryan crouched lightly in front of a rock wall concealed by vines. He brushed aside loose stones and dead leaves, then slipped into a hidden little cave.

The cave was damp and cool. The air carried a salty wetness, and in the darkness, the only sound was the occasional drip of water.

Ryan breathed slowly, closed his eyes, and activated Zetsu, blocking out every trace of his presence.

After a moment, he began switching into Ren, sensing his Aura flow and slowly spread through his body until it was full, then using Ten to cover the surface of his body.

He suddenly unleashed Ren, concentrating his Aura and making it erupt explosively. Feeling his Aura rapidly deplete, he hurriedly used Ten to control and withdraw the Aura that had spread around him, pulling it back into his body. Cold sweat slid down his temples. He frowned slightly, opened his eyes, and sat in the cave, panting softly as he recovered. Yet his mind was already thinking, As expected, the scattered Aura is hard to control. I only managed to recover less than half of it.

Once I deal with the Hunter License, I have to find an opportunity to systematically study and train.

Ryan knew clearly that relying only on the basic techniques of Zetsu, Ten, and Ren was nowhere near enough to face the true powerhouses of the Hunter world.**
