Rapid Progress

The battle areas below the 50th floor of Heaven's Arena were still part of the beginner section, but the stands were already packed with spectators. Quite a few professional fighters had come to watch the "newcomers skipping floors." Gon was the first to take the stage.

Standing opposite him was a burly man with knotted muscles and a face full of beard. He was much taller and broader than Gon. Grinning, he lowered his head and waved his fists at Gon in provocation.

"Begin!" the referee ordered. The big man charged forward in long strides, and Gon rushed at him without hesitation. With a hard shove from both hands, he sent his opponent flying like a ragged sack. The man slammed violently into the wall before the stands, shattering the entire surface. Cries of alarm rose from the audience, while the big man's fate was unknown.

The arena fell silent.

Gon froze as well. "I-I'm this strong?" He blinked at his own hands.

"This is the result of your training during your time at Killua's house." Ryan walked to the edge of the arena, his tone calm. "Your strength now far surpasses that of ordinary people. But remember, control is more important than explosive power. Otherwise, you could easily kill an opponent by accident."

Without checking on the big man, the referee announced, "Contestant Gon wins. Based on your demonstrated strength, you may directly challenge the 50th floor."
