Li Ziming and Robin did not head straight for Alabasta. Li Ziming made a detour to Whiskey Peak, intending to retrieve his bar tools and liquor.
"There really are a lot of injured people." Robin looked at the bandaged figures filling the streets. "I can completely imagine how much of a mess those people caused here."
"I just hope my bar wasn't affected." Li Ziming no longer had even the slightest goodwill toward the Straw Hat Pirates. There was only one thought in his mind: if those bastards had really wrecked his bar, he would blow them away.
"Let's hope so." Robin shook her head as she looked at the damaged shops on both sides. "But I advise you not to get your hopes up too high."
"Then next time we meet, we'll blow those bastards away." Tiny explosions crackled around Li Ziming's body in his fury.
When they reached the entrance of the bar, Li Ziming finally let out a sigh of relief. At least there was no visible damage, which meant they had not used his place as a battlefield.
"Hey!" Just as Li Ziming was about to push open the door, a voice called out to him.
"You're Mr. 5 and Miss All Sunday!" The voice was slightly excited. "The boss has put a bounty on you! If we catch you, we'll be rich!" By the end, the speaker had become completely hysterical.
"There sure are a lot of you." Li Ziming said disdainfully. "But you think this trash can catch me?"
"Even if you're a high-ranking officer, there are so many of us that we can wear you down! Everyone, get him! We'll split the reward after we catch him!" Some people could no longer contain their excitement. They urged their companions on and charged forward.
"Is that so?" Li Ziming shrugged, and the first few people to rush at him were blasted away.
"Damn it, that's his Devil Fruit ability! Be careful not to let him blow you up!" Someone said this, but his body honestly retreated, with no intention of stepping forward.
"It's fine, he can't use his ability too many times!" One particularly dense fellow charged straight at Li Ziming.
Li Ziming did not retreat. Instead, he charged toward the crowd of Baroque Works members. His bar was behind him, and he did not want any explosions affecting it.
"Looking to die!" Seeing Li Ziming actually run toward them, everyone became excited and surrounded him from all sides.
But some people set their sights on Robin. After all, she was a woman, and no one thought she could be all that strong. Compared with men, people were more inclined to believe women were easier to deal with.
But Robin had been living as a fugitive since she was eight years old. How could her fighting ability be weak? Arms sprouted from the bodies of several people charging at her, and Robin used joint locks to throw them to the ground.
"Haa..." Li Ziming let out a long breath, lowering his upper body slightly. "Big Explosion!"
A violent explosion erupted around Li Ziming in an instant, sending out ring after ring of shockwaves. The nearest pirates flew away coughing blood, while those farther out lost their footing and fell because of the shockwaves.
"It's not over yet." Li Ziming straightened up, his feet moving repeatedly with Soru as he went after those who had not yet lost their ability to fight.
"Not bad." Robin praised Li Ziming after he had dealt with everyone. "With strength like that, no wonder you dared to boast that you weren't worried about the top-ranked officers."
"Ah, I'm dizzy!" Li Ziming shouted as he stood beside Robin, then fell straight toward her.
"You could at least put a little more effort into acting. That performance was ridiculously exaggerated." Robin simply stepped aside, having no intention of letting Li Ziming take advantage of her.
"Sigh, how heartbreaking. I'm injured, and there isn't even anyone to help me up." Li Ziming lay on his side on the ground, propping up his head with one hand.
"Aren't you worried about your shop?" Robin rolled her eyes helplessly, reminding him to get his priorities straight.
"Oh, right!" Li Ziming slapped his palm, then his head hit the ground. "That hurts!" Rubbing his head, Li Ziming pushed open the door to his bar and froze in the doorway.
"What is it? Why aren't you going in?" Robin looked at Li Ziming curiously, not knowing why he had stopped at the entrance.
"Robin..." Li Ziming looked utterly despondent. "I swear... I'm definitely going to blow those Straw Hat bastards away!" By the end, dark energy was already rising from his body.
"Is it really that bad?" Robin pushed Li Ziming aside and saw the miserable state of his bar.
Liquor bottles were scattered everywhere, the floor was a mess, and the shelves where Li Ziming kept his alcohol were completely empty, except for a few empty bottles.
Seeing this, Robin patted Li Ziming's shoulder consolingly.
"Robin-chan!" Li Ziming painfully hugged Robin and began rubbing against her.
"If you act like this, your bar tools will cry." Robin grabbed Li Ziming's cheek and pulled him away from her.
"Honestly, I'm really upset." Li Ziming muttered unhappily as he rubbed his cheek. "And I'm sure my bar tools will understand me!" Li Ziming looked determined, but he still walked over to the counter and began searching for his tools.
"Measuring cup..." Li Ziming looked at a pile of fragments on the floor. "Muddler." He helplessly examined the metal muddler in his hand, now bent into a sharp angle. Li Ziming was completely at a loss, but he still forced himself to keep looking despite the pain in his heart. "Strainer, cocktail shaker, intact." At least the cocktail shaker had not suffered any hardship. Since the strainer had been together with it, it had escaped disaster as well. "Juicer, intact." Li Ziming let out a long breath. At least some key items had not been damaged, but the bar spoon, pour spouts, ice tongs, and glasses had all been reduced to fragments.
"Sigh, at least the most important things are fine." His tone was filled with sorrow.
"What, are you planning to let the Straw Hat Pirates off now?" Robin teased with a smile.
"No, I'm absolutely going to blow those bastards away!" Li Ziming said through gritted teeth.
"So, are we taking these things with us?" Robin curiously picked up a liquor bottle by her foot and waved it in front of Li Ziming.
"Come on, only these two can still be used. What else is there worth taking?" Li Ziming said helplessly.
"Then let's go." Robin looked at Li Ziming. "Are you sure you only want to take these two things? We may never come back here again."
"People always have to look forward. If I kept staring at the past, I would have died long ago." Li Ziming smiled. "Besides, my bar tools and liquor are probably my greatest memories." His expression darkened. "But all my liquor was wasted by those bastards!"
"Enough, let's head for Alabasta. When we run into the Straw Hat Pirates, you can blow them up however you like." Robin said helplessly.
"Wait, there's still some reserve liquor in my room. I just hope those bastards didn't find it." Li Ziming entered his room as he spoke, then immediately cheered.
"Looks like the liquor is fine?" Robin looked at him with amusement.
"Mhm, mhm, mhm." Li Ziming nodded rapidly, almost too excited to speak.
"But we don't have enough room to store all that liquor." Robin said helplessly.
"It's fine. There are still ships on Whiskey Peak. We can take one of the island's ships and leave!" Li Ziming looked like he would rather die than give up his liquor.
"All right, but this may slow us down considerably." Robin said helplessly.
"It's fine. We can go around Little Garden and head straight to Alabasta. The journey will be a little longer, but as long as we bring enough supplies, it'll be fine." Li Ziming wore the expression of a man who feared nothing.
"All right, but if we miss the Straw Hat Pirates because of this, don't blame me for not warning you." Since Robin could not persuade Li Ziming otherwise, she could only agree to his plan.
"No problem, no problem." Li Ziming waved his hand carelessly. "Then I'll go find a ship. Robin, I'll have to trouble you with carrying everything." With that, Li Ziming ran out.
Soon afterward, the two of them loaded everything they needed onto the ship.
"All right." Li Ziming looked at Robin. "By the way, can you sail?"
"Sail? I can't." Robin spread her hands. "But I can tell directions well enough."
"Mm, that's enough." Li Ziming walked over to the helm. "Let's set sail!"
Seeing Li Ziming's smug expression, Robin smiled helplessly, then sat on the ship and began enjoying the gentle sea breeze.
