After the Battle

"Is it over?" Li Ziming rubbed his forehead. Dying and then coming back to life felt awful.

"Ming!" Si threw herself at Li Ziming. "I'm so glad you're okay!"

"I guess Big Mom's defeat undid her power..." Li Ziming ventured. "I still feel weak, though. Must be an aftereffect of coming back from the dead..."

"Whew! As long as we won, it's fine!" Luffy lay on the ground. Between Gear Fourth and blowing up both hands with Bone Balloon, he was utterly exhausted.

"True..." Li Ziming lay down too. "But congratulations, Luffy..."

"Hee-hee..." Luffy grinned. "Ming, got anything to eat? I'm hungry..."

"Just roll over..." Li Ziming had been about to point out that Luffy could now claim to have taken down one of the Four Emperors, but Luffy clearly didn't care. The first thing out of his mouth was that he was hungry. "It's Big Mom's territory. You think there's no food here?"

"Oh, right!" Luffy rolled over and took a bite out of the floor beneath him.

"Hey! You idiot, wait before you eat that!" Li Ziming suddenly realized what would happen, but Luffy ate fast. In an instant, he had chewed a huge hole beneath himself. Big Mom's castle had already been on the verge of collapse after the battle, and now it began to shake.

"Luffy, you bastard!" Li Ziming shouted as he felt himself falling.

"What's happening?" Nami stared in confusion as the castle suddenly collapsed before her eyes.

"Now's not the time for that! Ming and your captain are both inside!" Reiju ran over with Caesar beside her.

"Nami, my dear..." Sanji came running too, his eyes spinning into hearts as he lavished attention on Nami and Carrot.
