A Brief Meeting

"Shichibukai Marshall Rogge has arrived at Marineford."

The announcement rang through Marine Headquarters. Everyone on Marineford, soldier and civilian alike, knew Rogge had arrived.

"That new Shichibukai actually came." In an office, a man with a mohawk was carefully tending to his weapon with a wad of cotton. At the announcement, he looked up in surprise.

"Did you invite him to headquarters?" asked an officer wearing a metal helmet.

Another person Rogge knew was in the office: Vice Admiral Doberman. He looked at the two men. "I didn't invite him. Which of the Shichibukai would come to Marine Headquarters? Apart from Jinbe, who came years ago to secure the release of that Fish-Man held in Impel Down, not one of them has ever set foot here."

"He's got nerve, coming to Marine Headquarters. Does he think he's sightseeing?" Vice Admiral Onigumo said.

"Pirates. You can't expect them to make sense," Vice Admiral Momonga said with a laugh.

The door opened, and a smiling middle-aged man with a cigar in his mouth walked in. "That pirate they call Asura is here. Hahaha! I doubt he wanted to come, but he didn't have a choice."

"They ran into Vice Admiral Garp. He invited Rogge to Marine Headquarters. You think Rogge dared turn him down?" Hō said with a smile.

"So that's why he's here. I wondered what he was doing at Marine Headquarters when no one had invited him. Even with an invitation, a pirate is still a pirate. They'd never come here willingly." Vice Admiral Doberman nodded.
