Akainu stared fixedly at Rogge, his eyes filled with disbelief as well. About a year ago, he had clashed with Rogge over the Jade City Treasure. Back then, Akainu had been confident he could defeat Rogge, or even kill him, in half an hour.

Yet in just one year, Rogge had grown at an astonishing rate. His haki was already no weaker than Akainu's, and his Conqueror's Haki could even unleash such a terrifying pulse against Whitebeard's that it split the sky.
