While Flower Country was still debating whether to withdraw, a bloody crackdown was underway in a North Blue nation that had already left the World Government.
A World Government ship arrived, and a group of people in black suits disembarked, escorting a towering figure down the gangplank.
"You're not welcome here. Get out!" At the docks, a crowd of ordinary people armed with shovels, hoes, and other "weapons" stood in their way.
"We are World Government personnel, here on its behalf to suppress the rebellion," said a bespectacled man with the air of an official.
"Our country has already withdrawn from the World Government! We're no longer one of your member states, and we don't need your help. Get out of our country! You're not welcome here anymore, so stop coming here with your fake concern!" a middle-aged man holding a hoe shouted.
"We were sent by the World Government to help you. Your country is in turmoil, and your ruler only withdrew because he listened to malicious advice. The World Government will not abandon you. The Marines are being held back by pirates, which is the only reason they couldn't come. We are here now to suppress the rebel-" Before the official could finish, an egg came flying at him.
Splat!
The official was only an ordinary man, with a Doriki value probably about the same as Spandam's. He clearly saw the egg coming but couldn't dodge it. It struck him squarely on the head, and a foul stench immediately spread.
"Aah!!!" The official screamed and covered his face. The stench nearly knocked him unconscious. It was revolting; he had never smelled anything so foul in his life, and it was unbearable.
