They ran into trouble while collecting the third Pacifista. A Marine Admiral had arrived. The Marines seemed to know their route, too-after all, the Asura Pirates would only visit the countries under their protection.
"Tsk, tsk. They got here fast." Jelly had only just dealt with the Pacifista when a warship appeared nearby.

"Oh, my, how frightening. What are the Asura Pirates up to?" A flash of light streaked past, and a tall man stood before Jelly and Jerry.
"Admiral Borsalino. I really didn't want to run into you," Jelly said.
"I didn't want to run into you Asura Pirates, either. You're far too strong. Such a nuisance," Kizaru said.
"Since neither of us wants to see the other, why not leave it at that? We'll part ways here. I'll head back to the New World, and you can go back to Marine Headquarters for tea. That should settle it." Jelly spread his hands.
"That won't do. The government ordered us to recover SSD. We can't let you have it. If you're willing to hand it over, we can leave it at that. I don't want to provoke you, either. That captain of yours has quite a temper," Kizaru said.
"Well, then there's really nothing we can do. Our captain ordered us to bring them back, not hand them over to the Marines." Jelly spread his hands with a sigh.
"In that case, all this talk is pointless." Kizaru pulled his hands out of his pockets.
