Four Emperors

Once the news spread, everyone in the world who could buy a World Economy News Paper knew that Rogge had become a new Shichibukai.

Some people chose to ignore the fact that the world had gained another villain. Some cared deeply, while even more were curious about why Tyrant Kuma had suddenly stepped down and been replaced by the newcomer Rogge.

They knew Rogge had previously defeated Crocodile, but they had not expected that, after so little time, such a promising newcomer would be recruited by the World Government and made one of the King Shichibukai.

The Four Emperors had not cared about Rogge before. He was just a newcomer. But now they had no choice but to take him seriously. After all, the King Shichibukai existed to balance the Four Emperors. The combined strength of seven pirates truly could contend against one of the Four Emperors.

The seven pirates currently serving as King Shichibukai were the world's greatest swordsman, Hawk-Eye Mihawk; the Flamingo, Donquixote Doflamingo; the Pirate Empress, Boa Hancock; Knight of the Sea Jinbe; the Shadow Mage, Gecko Moria; the Desert Crocodile, Crocodile; and finally, Rogge, who had just joined the King Shichibukai.

Hawk-Eye possessed the strength to fight Red-Hair, one of the Four Emperors, to a draw. Not a single Four Emperor dared claim he could defeat him. The other six, together with their subordinates, were enough to handle a Four Emperor's officers and troops.

"That Ghost." Whitebeard had received the newspaper. A single ship could not possibly buy only one paper; there were too many people, and who knew how long they would have to wait for their turn? Anyone who wanted to read it had to pay. Marco had bought two copies, one for Whitebeard and one for himself.
