Ch. 301A tea party invitation?

Plot points and events

  • Rogge reads a newspaper report and is pleased that the public sees him as weaker than the Three Emperors and merely a Shichibukai. He and his crew return to Nightless City, now the Asura Pirates’ headquarters and a settled territory governed by their rules.
  • Charlotte Linlin sends Rogge a crayon-drawn invitation to her tea party. Rogge passes it to the World Government, prompting the Five Elders to debate whether he should meet her.
  • The Elders forbid the meeting, worried that contact could push Rogge toward the Big Mom Pirates and provoke the Navy. Rogge accepts their answer and discards the invitation.
  • A few days later, Charlotte Galette arrives as Big Mom’s representative, offering an alliance and promising to help make Rogge an Emperor of the Sea. She also reveals Big Mom’s suspicion that Rogge killed Kuzan.
  • Rogge grabs Galette and warns her to be careful. She admits the Big Mom Pirates have suspicions but no proof. She then passes on Big Mom’s offer that Galette will become Rogge’s woman if he agrees to ally with her.
  • Rogge refuses the alliance but decides to keep Galette, carrying her into his castle. His crew drives off her accompanying Homies, who return to report to Big Mom. Enraged, Big Mom vows to kill him.
  • The World Government and Navy hear of the incident. They are surprised that Rogge, supposedly injured by Red-Hair, is willing to antagonize Big Mom. The chapter ends by suggesting Rogge is tired of pretending to be weak.

Character developments and interactions

  • Rogge continues to manage his public image while acting with confidence behind the scenes. He uses the invitation to signal the World Government, rejects Big Mom’s political offer, and reacts sharply when Galette hints at his role in Kuzan’s death. His decision to keep Galette escalates the conflict.
  • The Five Elders regard Rogge as a useful ally and want to prevent him from aligning with Big Mom, though their confidence that they can control or support him is evident.
  • Charlotte Galette serves as Big Mom’s envoy. She is bold enough to challenge Rogge with the Kuzan accusation and later becomes the object of his unwanted possessiveness.
  • The crew trades jokes with Rogge on the way home and later protects his stronghold by driving back the Homies.
  • Big Mom moves from a formal invitation to an attempted alliance, then to fury when Rogge rejects her terms and keeps Galette.

Significant themes

  • Public image versus reality: Rogge benefits from being perceived as weaker than he is, while privately showing little fear of powerful rivals.
  • Political maneuvering and uneasy alliances: The World Government, Navy, and Big Mom Pirates all try to influence Rogge, whose choices could shift the balance of power.
  • Power, secrecy, and evidence: Big Mom’s intelligence network suspects Rogge killed Kuzan, but suspicion without proof leaves him protected.
  • Escalation and control: Rogge’s provocative response to Galette turns a failed alliance proposal into a personal feud.

Ch. 302The lecher among lechers, part one

Key plot points and events

  • Rogge’s detention of Galette, Big Mom’s daughter, becomes a major newspaper scandal, portraying him as a shameless womanizer willing to provoke the Big Mom Pirates.
  • Doflamingo uses the story to smear Rogge and warns Sugar to stay away from him. He suspects Rogge wants Sugar for her powerful Hobby-Hobby Fruit and has been keeping her protected.
  • On Onigashima, Queen, King, and Jack discuss the news. Their conversation turns to Rogge’s apparent injury after his encounter with Red-Hair; King believes Rogge faked the wound.
  • Kaido and his commanders wonder why Rogge, powerful enough to challenge for an Emperor’s position, avoids pursuing greater status and seems to publicize scandals deliberately. Kaido ultimately prioritizes business, ordering Doflamingo to supply more SILE.
  • At Cake Island, Big Mom rages over Galette’s captivity. Katakuri pledges the Charlotte Family’s support, and Big Mom orders them to prepare for war against Nightless City.

Character developments and interactions

  • Rogge remains offstage but is shown as powerful, calculating, and difficult for other major players to read. His scandalous public image may be a deliberate distraction.
  • Doflamingo recognizes Rogge as a serious threat, especially because of Sugar’s ability, and exploits the scandal to damage Rogge’s reputation.
  • Sugar accepts Doflamingo’s warning and resolves to avoid Rogge.
  • Kaido, King, Queen, and Jack debate Rogge’s motives. King is skeptical of the supposed injury; Kaido is more interested in understanding Rogge’s ambitions, while Queen treats the scandal as a joke.
  • Big Mom and Katakuri stand together as the family faces the prospect of war. Big Mom’s anger is fueled not only by Galette’s capture but also by Rogge’s refusal to accept her proposed alliance and his history of undermining her operations.

Significant themes

  • Reputation as a weapon: Rogge’s scandalous image becomes a subject of public amusement, while Doflamingo deliberately amplifies it.
  • Power and hidden motives: Several powerful figures question why Rogge avoids the status and territory his strength could secure.
  • Family loyalty and escalating conflict: Katakuri’s pledge and Big Mom’s order show the Charlotte Family closing ranks, turning Galette’s detention into a potential war.

Ch. 303Summon, War Begins II

Chapter Summary: Summon, War Begins II

Key Plot Points and Events

  • The Big Mom Pirates finally mobilize against the Asura Pirates, sending more than one hundred ships toward Nightless City.
  • The approaching force shocks the world, as the conflict threatens to become the largest pirate battle since Marineford.
  • Civilians and most remaining pirates evacuate Nightless City, leaving the island almost entirely to the Asura Pirates.
  • Marine Headquarters receives the news. The admirals discuss the situation, but Akainu confirms that the World Government has given no order for the Marines to assist Rogge. The Marines therefore intend to let the two pirate forces weaken each other.
  • Inside Nightless City, the Asura Pirates remain relaxed and celebratory rather than afraid. Their casual behavior reveals their confidence and the strength they have concealed for the past two years.
  • Rogge announces that they will stop holding back the following day. The crew eagerly prepares to fight the Big Mom Pirates and possibly claim territory formerly controlled by Whitebeard.
  • The crew acknowledges that this battle may force them to reveal their true power and potentially become one of the Four Emperors, rather than continuing to operate as Shichibukai.
  • Rogge gives an emotional speech promising that the crew will achieve its ambitions. The pirates raise their glasses, smash them, and prepare to reveal the “true Asura Pirates” to the world.

Character Developments

  • Rogge shows confidence and leadership, but also recognizes the emotional and personal sacrifices made by his crew. He is especially moved by Cook’s loyalty and past decision to save him.
  • Cook reaffirms that joining Rogge was his own choice and that Rogge gave him the strength and purpose to advance. Their exchange emphasizes their deep bond.
  • The Asura Pirates demonstrate that their apparent restraint over the last two years was deliberate. Their excitement suggests they have grown significantly stronger and are eager to prove themselves.
  • Ares reveals increased confidence in his combat ability and openly challenges the others, while the rest of the crew mock him and remind him that each member possesses dangerous abilities.
  • Galette becomes increasingly intimidated by the crew. She realizes that Rogge has hidden far more strength than she knew and that the entire crew is more terrifying than expected.
  • Kizaru and the other Marines display contradictory attitudes toward the conflict. Kizaru prefers to watch the pirates destroy each other, despite his earlier willingness to challenge multiple Emperors.

Significant Themes

  • The end of concealment: After two years of restraint and humiliation, the Asura Pirates are ready to reveal their full strength.
  • Loyalty and chosen family: Rogge and Cook’s relationship, along with the crew’s shared celebration, highlights the bonds that unite them.
  • Ambition and rising power: The crew is no longer merely defending itself; it is considering claiming territory and becoming one of the Four Emperors.
  • Political opportunism: The World Government and Marines deliberately refuse to intervene, hoping the pirate factions will weaken one another.
  • Confidence before war: The crew’s humor, drinking, and infighting contrast sharply with the scale of the threat, emphasizing their overwhelming confidence.

Character Interactions

  • Pizarro, Devon, and the others tease Rogge about Big Mom’s arrival and his romantic preferences, maintaining the crew’s chaotic humor.
  • Rogge jokes and quarrels with Billy, who playfully swallows his head, reinforcing the informal and bizarre atmosphere among the pirates.
  • Ares challenges the crew over who is strongest, but Jelly, Jerry, Gavin, and Simon each boast about their own lethal abilities. Their exchange shows both rivalry and mutual recognition.
  • Rogge and Cook share the chapter’s most sincere interaction, with Rogge embracing him and apologizing for the burden he accepted. Cook dismisses the sentimentality and urges him to lead the crew forward.
  • Ham directly questions Rogge about whether they will become Emperors or retain their Shichibukai status, forcing Rogge to acknowledge that their coming battle will change their position in the world.

Ch. 304Undercurrents, Part Three

Rogge prepared the Asura Pirates for an imminent war with the Big Mom Pirates while the World Government left them unsupported and prepared to seize their assets. He mobilized his allies and resolved to confront the World Government directly, while continuing to hunt Blackbeard.

  • Rogge summoned more than a hundred pirate captains to Nightless City, while telling Enel he would keep the Sky Island forces in reserve.
  • Crocodile predicted that the Big Mom Pirates would suffer and observed that the World Government had abandoned the Asura Pirates.
  • Rogge learned that the World Government was preparing to take over his holdings, and Ham reported that seventy to eighty thousand core personnel and 120 captains stood ready.
  • Rogge ordered Carl to keep searching for Blackbeard, who had stolen cargo and defeated Whitebeard Pirates remnants.
  • Rogge confirmed that the World Government and Marine Headquarters had not responded, then took out a Den Den Mushi to speak with them himself.

Ch. 305From now on, call me an Emperor, part four

Rogge asked the Marines and the World Government to help him fight the Big Mom Pirates, but both refused and told him to abandon Nightless City. He then revealed that he had prepared a gift for the World Government and declared he would no longer be a Shichibukai, but an Emperor.

  • Rogge offered Akainu five billion Beli to send an Admiral to help defeat Charlotte Linlin, but Akainu refused and ended the call.
  • Rogge's crew mocked him for calling Akainu “darling,” and Rogge decided to contact the Five Elders instead.
  • Rogge reminded the Five Elders of his service and support as a Shichibukai, but they refused to help and advised him to flee Nightless City.
  • Rogge told the Five Elders that he understood they had abandoned him, then asked whether they could still contact the people they had sent.
  • Rogge said he had prepared a final gift for the World Government, renounced his Shichibukai status, and declared himself an Emperor.

Ch. 306Two earth-shattering revelations, part five

After Rogge accepted that the Big Mom Pirates were coming to Nightless City, the Five Elders and Marines discovered that he had emptied his businesses and mobilized the pirate crews occupying Whitebeard's former territory. They realized those forces were heading to Nightless City, leaving Rogge poised to face Big Mom with a vast army behind him.

  • Rogge told Jelly and Galette he would fight the Big Mom Pirates but did not need to fight Charlotte Linlin to the death.
  • The Five Elders learned that Rogge's trade stations and New World Distribution Center were empty, and that his goods had moved into the underground market.
  • A Marine Rear Admiral reported that all 120 pirate crews occupying Whitebeard's former territory had left for Nightless City.
  • Akainu, Kizaru, Ryokugyu, and Fujitora assessed the mobilization and realized the Asura Pirates could muster more than 200,000 fighters.

Ch. 307Here They Come, Part I

Chapter Summary: “Here They Come, Part I”

Key Plot Points and Events

  • The world eagerly awaits the expected war between the Big Mom Pirates and Rogge’s Asura Pirates, though ordinary people have little reliable information because of poor communications.
  • The World Government and other major organizations closely monitor the conflict, fearing that the Asura Pirates’ recent growth could upset the global balance of power.
  • Big Mom leads a massive force of more than 50,000 fighters, including several thousand expendable Homies, toward the Nightless City.
  • Her motivation is deeply personal and political: Rogge has repeatedly damaged Big Mom’s intelligence network and procurement operations, rejected her invitation to join forces, detained her daughter Galette, and publicly humiliated the Big Mom Pirates.
  • The Asura Pirates detect Big Mom’s arrival but choose not to eliminate outside observers. Rogge deliberately allows World Government, Marine, Underworld, and rival intelligence agents to witness the battle and judge the crew’s strength.
  • Rogge decides to fight inside the Nightless City, accepting that the city may be heavily damaged and require reconstruction.
  • Tens of thousands of Asura Pirates gather in a huge basin to confront Big Mom’s forces. Rogge emphasizes that the crew has expanded beyond ordinary piracy into a broad faction with combatants, intelligence agents, logistics personnel, and worldwide operations.
  • The chapter ends as Big Mom’s forces enter the battlefield and a huge, intimidating figure emerges from one of the basin’s passageways, setting up the confrontation.

Character Developments

  • Big Mom/Charlotte Linlin is portrayed as furious, vengeful, and determined to preserve her reputation as a New World Emperor. Her distrust of others explains her reliance on Homies and her strategy of building power primarily through her children.
  • Rogge demonstrates confidence and calculated ambition. Rather than hiding the battle, he views it as an opportunity to publicly display the Asura Pirates’ strength and complete their transformation into a major global power.
  • Perospero acts as Big Mom’s close aide, reassuring her that the fleet is nearly at its destination.
  • Katakuri and the Charlotte Family remain silent and tense around Big Mom, but they share her desire for revenge against Rogge.
  • Ham functions as a communications and organizational figure for the Asura Pirates, relaying intelligence and worrying about the cost of rebuilding the city.
  • Carl shows vigilance by identifying hidden observers, while Rogge orders him not to interfere.

Significant Themes

  • Power and shifting global balance: The conflict is presented as an event that could redefine the hierarchy of the pirate world.
  • Revenge and reputation: Big Mom feels compelled to retaliate because tolerating Rogge’s actions would make her appear weak.
  • The transformation from pirate crew to organized faction: The Asura Pirates are shown to possess not only fighters but also intelligence networks, logistics, economic resources, and worldwide personnel.
  • Information as power: Both sides rely heavily on intelligence, surveillance, and public perception. Rogge intentionally turns the battle into a demonstration for observers.
  • Trust and control: Big Mom’s distrust of others leads her to rely on Homies and family, while Rogge uses discipline, planning, and organizational reach to consolidate power.
  • Youth versus established legends: Rogge notes that, despite four years of growth, the Asura Pirates are still young compared with legendary figures such as Big Mom.

Character Interactions

  • Big Mom pressures Perospero for updates and declares her intention to kill Rogge.
  • The Charlotte Family, including Katakuri and Perospero, silently supports Big Mom’s desire for revenge.
  • Rogge consults Jelly about where to fight and accepts the risk of damaging the Nightless City.
  • Ham reports Big Mom’s movements and warns Rogge about the city’s potential destruction.
  • Carl asks whether the hidden observers should be eliminated, but Rogge refuses, recognizing the value of allowing them to report what they see.
  • Rogge rallies the assembled Asura Pirates, whose members respond enthusiastically and express confidence that they can defeat even the Big Mom Pirates.

Ch. 308A tiger in pigskin, part two

Rogge fought Charlotte Linlin and revealed that he had hidden his true strength after the news of his clash with Red-Hair. As the Asura Pirates battled the Big Mom Pirates, the Five Elders and Kong watched and discussed whether the Marines could exploit the conflict.

  • Charlotte Linlin attacked Rogge with her Emperor Sword, but he blocked her strike and shattered the flames around him.
  • Rogge showed Charlotte Linlin that his bleeding fist was a deliberate deception, and she realized her intelligence was outdated.
  • Charlotte Linlin and Rogge ordered their crews to charge, and their officers split into separate battles across the battlefield.
  • Rogge and Charlotte Linlin fought as equals while the Asura Pirates gained the advantage against the Big Mom Pirates’ forces.
  • Kong and the Five Elders watched the battle footage and considered sending the Marines to strike after the pirates weakened each other.
  • The Five Elders learned that the Asura Pirates had obtained the Venom-Venom Fruit, which they had sought since Magellan’s death.

Ch. 309Figured it out, part three

As the Marines watched Rogge’s forces battle the Big Mom Pirates, they realized the Asura Pirates had secretly killed Kuzan and were now too powerful to challenge. In Nightless City, Ares faced Smoothie with highly corrosive venom while Jelly struggled against Cracker.

  • Sakazuki, Sengoku, and the other Marines concluded they could not intervene against Rogge and his forces.
  • Akainu and the senior Marines realized the Asura Pirates had killed Kuzan, and Garp tried to leave before Sengoku restrained him.
  • Ares complained that Smoothie could expel his venom, while Jelly said Cracker’s biscuit defenses made him difficult to defeat.
  • Ares revealed he would use highly acidic venom against Smoothie and summoned a corrosive red Hydra.

Ch. 310Earthquake dog, part four

Rogge’s fight with Charlotte Linlin shifted when Billy arrived and revealed that he had eaten the Tremor-Tremor Fruit. Rogge rode Billy into battle, while the revelation stunned the Big Mom Pirates and the Marines.

  • Ares and Smoothie continued fighting as Rogge and Charlotte Linlin traded blows, with Rogge blocking her attack barehanded.
  • Billy arrived and caught Rogge, then lunged at Charlotte Linlin and shattered part of Napoleon with the Tremor-Tremor Fruit’s vibrations.
  • Charlotte Linlin and the onlookers realized Billy had eaten Whitebeard’s former Devil Fruit, while Katakuri lost focus and took a lightning strike from Enel.
  • Rogge explained that Billy had stolen and eaten the fruit, then rode him toward Charlotte Linlin to combine the Tremor-Tremor Fruit’s power with the Chop-Chop Fruit.
  • At Marine Headquarters, Kizaru, Vice Admiral Tsuru, Sengoku, and Garp reacted in disbelief, with Garp noting that Blackbeard would also be furious.

Ch. 311Ice-Ice Fruit, Part Five

Cook revealed that he had eaten the Ice-Ice Fruit and challenged Jinbe during the Marineford War, while Rogge admitted that the Asura Pirates had killed Kuzan. The revelation enraged the Marines, and Cook began using his new power against Jinbe.

  • Garp and Sengoku mourned Whitebeard’s legacy as the Marines discussed the Asura Pirates’ growing power.
  • Cook told Jinbe to leave the Big Mom Pirates and promised that the Asura Pirates would protect Fish-Man Island, then the former allies began fighting.
  • Jinbe gained the advantage in their Fish-Man Karate duel, but Cook avoided his strike by turning into ice and reappeared with the Ice-Ice Fruit’s power.
  • Charlotte Linlin accused Rogge of killing Kuzan, and Rogge admitted that he and his crew had killed Kuzan a year earlier and obtained the Ice-Ice Fruit.
  • The Marine officers erupted in killing intent as Akainu recognized Rogge as Kuzan’s killer, while Cook used Ice Age against Jinbe.

Ch. 312Battle Situation One

Chapter Summary: “Battle Situation One”

Key Plot Points and Events

  • The war between Rogge’s forces and Charlotte Linlin’s Big Mom Pirates continues inside the Nightless City for more than thirty hours.
  • Cook’s Ice-Ice Fruit eventually defeats Jinbe, freezing him after a day-long battle. However, Cook is seriously injured because Fish-Man attacks damage an opponent internally through water vibrations.
  • Rogge’s forces suffer more than 20,000 casualties, with over 10,000 fighters still able to fight. The Big Mom Pirates appear to suffer fewer losses because most of their soldiers are Homies—animated objects that can rise and return to battle after being knocked down.
  • Several commander battles reach decisive stages:
    • Ares is defeated by Smoothie, though Simon’s intervention prevents him from being killed.
    • Smoothie is poisoned and must continuously consume juice to restore her fluids and expel the venom.
    • Shiryu defeats Snag in a sword fight.
    • Enel and Katakuri remain evenly matched.
    • Jerry is overwhelming Cracker, who is reduced to a defensive, turtle-like state.
  • Charlotte Linlin briefly gains an advantage after forcing Rogge back and injuring Sanjuan Wolf. However, Sanjuan Wolf survives due to his immense durability, and Billy later joins the battlefield to destroy Homie troops and relieve the pressure.
  • Linlin argues that her Homie army’s ability to fight endlessly gives her an unbeatable numerical advantage. Rogge dismisses this, insisting that the commanders—and especially Linlin herself—are what determine the war.
  • Rogge and Charlotte Linlin continue their own devastating duel, destroying a large section of the city’s mountain. Rogge’s Spatial Separation pulverizes the mountainside, but Linlin’s extraordinary defense allows her to survive despite suffering numerous wounds.
  • At the end of the chapter, Rogge points toward the sea. Hundreds of mysterious points of light appear in the darkness, suggesting the arrival of a new force or fleet.

Character Developments

  • Rogge: Remains confident and strategically focused. Rather than being intimidated by the Homies’ numbers, he believes victory depends on defeating Linlin and the opposing commanders. His attacks demonstrate destructive power on an island-shattering scale.
  • Charlotte Linlin: Displays overwhelming durability, confidence, and battlefield control. She relies heavily on the apparent immortality and tirelessness of her Homie army, but begins to recognize that Rogge’s commanders are gaining the upper hand.
  • Cook: Proves capable of defeating Jinbe with the Ice-Ice Fruit, though he is badly injured by Jinbe’s internal Fish-Man combat techniques.
  • Jinbe: Demonstrates tremendous endurance and power, fighting Cook for an entire day before finally being frozen.
  • Ares: Is defeated by Smoothie and nearly killed by poison-related risks, revealing the limitations of his relatively recent mastery of the Venom-Venom Fruit.
  • Smoothie: Wins her battle but suffers serious poisoning, leaving her weakened and dependent on her ability to absorb and expel liquid.
  • Sanjuan Wolf: Survives a powerful attack from Linlin despite being severely outmatched in size and destructive potential. His massive body makes him one of Rogge’s most valuable battlefield weapons.
  • Billy: Enters the battle to attack the Homie forces rather than directly assist Rogge, helping restore balance after Sanjuan Wolf is injured.
  • Shiryu: Establishes himself as a powerful swordsman even without the Clear-Clear Fruit, defeating Snag through skill alone.
  • Enel and Katakuri: Continue their stalemate, leaving their outcome unresolved.

Significant Themes

  • Endurance versus mortality: The human fighters grow exhausted after more than a day without rest, while the Homies continue fighting because they do not experience fatigue in the same way.
  • Quality versus quantity: Linlin believes her endless army guarantees victory, but Rogge argues that powerful commanders and leaders matter more than raw numbers.
  • The scale of power: The battle’s destruction emphasizes the extraordinary strength of the major figures, whose attacks can obliterate mountains and potentially destroy islands.
  • The limits of Devil Fruit power: Cook’s Logia ability is powerful but not invincible, while Ares’s poison and Linlin’s Homies each have vulnerabilities.
  • Warfare and attrition: The conflict has become a prolonged war of casualties, exhaustion, reinforcements, and battlefield strategy rather than a series of isolated duels.

Character Interactions

  • Rogge and Charlotte Linlin exchange taunts over their armies and clash repeatedly in a destructive duel.
  • Linlin attempts to psychologically pressure Rogge by emphasizing that his human soldiers can die while her Homies can return to battle.
  • Rogge counters by pointing out that her commanders are being defeated or weakened, undermining her numerical advantage.
  • Simon secretly supports Ares during his fight with Smoothie.
  • Billy supports Rogge’s forces by attacking the Homie army after Sanjuan Wolf is injured.
  • The chapter ends with Rogge deliberately drawing Linlin’s attention to the sea, where an unknown fleet or force appears to be approaching.

Ch. 313A One-Sided Battle, Part Two

  • Charlotte Linlin proposed ending the war, but Rogge refused and struck at her, determined to wipe out her crew.

Ch. 314I just want to kill you, part three

  • A fearsome head suddenly descended from the sky, drawing Rogge and Charlotte Linlin’s attention.

Ch. 315Kaido's intervention, part four

  • The Big Mom Pirates returned to Totto Land after losing more than twenty of Charlotte Linlin’s children and ceding ten islands.
  • Katakuri and Perospero buried their siblings as Cracker and Brûlée vowed revenge, while Rogge and his crew continued celebrating.

Ch. 317Reorganizing the Pirate Crew, Part One

Rogge reorganized the Asura Pirates, chose Nightless City as their headquarters, and traveled to Dressrosa to meet the World Government. The chapter ended as he pressed the CP0 agents to explain why they had summoned him.

  • After the banquet, Rogge divided the core crew into six teams, kept the allied pirate crews independent, and established Lucci and the others' intelligence department as a separate unit.
  • Ham reported the pirates' numbers and island holdings, and Rogge agreed to rebuild Nightless City as the crew's headquarters.
  • Rogge ordered a reward for information leading to Blackbeard and discussed taking Sugar and the Hobby-Hobby Fruit's ability.
  • Rogge traveled to Dressrosa with Enel, Carl, and subordinates, where Donquixote Doflamingo brought him to meet three CP0 agents.
  • Rogge demanded that the CP0 agents explain their summons and asked whether Nightless City would remain an Underworld gathering place.

Ch. 318Plundering the whole world, part two

Rogge rejected the World Government’s attempt to restrict his trade and confronted the Five Elders over their failed plot against him. He agreed to stop commercial shipping, then threatened to raid the Four Blues instead.

  • Rogge punched through the palace wall and refused the CP0 agents’ order to stop shipping goods across the Four Blues.
  • Enel destroyed the agents’ stools with lightning, and Rogge demanded to speak with the Five Elders directly.
  • Rogge taunted the Five Elders about their late discovery of his Impel Down prisoners and revealed that their forces had been killed by poison gas while trying to seize his trade hubs.
  • The Five Elders acknowledged they had no authority over Rogge as a pirate and ordered him to abandon commercial trade.
  • Rogge agreed to stop shipping goods, then threatened to plunder the East Blue, West Blue, and the rest of the world with his airships.

Ch. 319Talking back, part three
