Deep within Mount Colubo.
Sunlight filtered through the dense forest, breaking into patches of mottled light and shadow. The damp scent of earth mingled with the fresh fragrance of grass and trees, slowly spreading through the woods.
Suddenly—
"Boom!"
A thick tree was smashed clean through.
Then a second and third tree toppled in quick succession as a Black-Horned Bear, as tall as a three-story building, charged through the forest.
Its body was covered in heavy black fur, and a curved black horn sharp as a blade grew from its forehead. Every step of its massive body shook the forest with thunderous force.
"Roar—!!!"
The Black-Horned Bear let out a roar, blasting a foul wind into their faces and sending leaves flying everywhere.
Not far away.
Luffy stood atop a fallen tree trunk, his eyes shining with excitement.
"Ace!"
"Sabo!"
"The bear's coming!!!"
Then came Ace's furious roar.
"Idiot Luffy!"
"Don't stand on the trap!"
Luffy looked down.
He was standing right on the edge of the trap the three of them had spent all morning digging, and his expression instantly froze.
"Huh?"
The next second.
"Crack."
The edge of the trap collapsed. Luffy sank downward, flailing his arms and legs in midair.
"Waaaahhh!"
His rubber arm reflexively stretched out and grabbed a nearby branch, but the branch snapped with a "crack" as well.
Sabo's voice rang out.
"There's no time!"
"Jump away!"
Ace grabbed Luffy's stretched rubber arm, gritted his teeth, and yanked him hard backward.
"You bastard!"
"You mess up the plan every single time!"
Luffy was dragged out of the trap like a slingshot and slammed into a mud pit with a "bang."
At the same time, Sabo gripped the vine rope tightly with both hands.
"Now!"
The prepared wooden spike net sprang up violently from the
