The magnetic field erupted a second time, blue-white currents twisting visible patterns through the air.
But this time, Rock wasn't aiming at Imu. He was aiming at the two swords in Imu's hands!
The Void Sword jerked outward, while an opposing magnetic field wrenched the Chaos Sword away. The shield formed by the crossed blades instantly fell apart.
Imu's eyes shifted. He was about to summon Demonic Energy to reform it.
Hiss, hiss, hiss, hiss!
Countless hair-thin Lightning Bind Threads sliced in from every direction, each carrying an almost imperceptible trace of Conqueror's Haki.
The many-eyed bands of Demonic Energy circling overhead were severed at once. They broke into wisps of black smoke, and even their attempts to re-form slowed.
Conqueror's Haki was disrupting the Demonic Energy itself.
"Nine Heavens Thunder Prison!"
Rock growled and clenched his fist.
Boom!
The domain of Divine Might Suppressing Heaven Prison activated instantly. Clouds, ground, and surrounding buildings erupted with lightning, sending a dense barrage of bolts crashing toward Imu.
Imu steadied the Chaos Sword with his left hand and pressed down on the Void Sword with his right, trying to force them together and rebuild the Void-Chaos Shield.
Crackle!
A bolt so thin it was almost invisible shot out of the sea of lightning, straight for Imu's heart.
"Thunder Thrust: Heart-Piercing Stab!"
Crack!
Before the swords could meet, the bolt knocked them half an inch apart. The black shield that had just begun to form shattered into dust.
Imu snapped his head aside. The lightning spear grazed his cheekbone, leaving a charred burn.
But Ten Thousand Thunders had already arrived. With no time to counterattack, Imu wrapped his wings around himself, forming a giant black cocoon to endure the storm.
Boom, boom, boom, boom!
Countless bolts poured down, blasting the Demonic Energy
