Because of Brando's actions, the entire East Blue had become lively.
The people of Foosha Village had also seen the newspaper. Every one of them was dumbfounded, unable to believe Brando had done such a thing.
If Foosha Village had not had such strong connections to Garp, the intelligence agencies would probably have wiped them all out by now.
Everyone who had come with the Celestial Dragons' ship had been silenced, with not a single survivor left. Only Saint Charlos had been rushed to Mary Geoise to see whether recovery was still possible.
"Has this guy gone crazy?"
Having reentered the Grand Line but not yet reached the New World, Shanks naturally saw the news as well.

When he saw the picture, he had even suspected he was seeing things.
He had actually made a Celestial Dragon kneel?
Shanks did not know that Saint Charlos's consciousness had already been erased, but the Celestial Dragon kneeling alone was enough to practically guarantee that Brando would be hunted by the World Government for the rest of his life.
At the same time, he was amazed by Morgans's audacity. He actually dared to report such news. That guy truly was not afraid of death when it came to getting a big scoop.
"That man's head is definitely not right."
Beckman had no choice but to admit it.
He had originally thought this man would cause trouble for Shanks's plans, but now it seemed that the man's very existence was one enormous problem.
Shanks did not care about those Celestial Dragons. Whether they lived or died had nothing to do with him. Otherwise, he would not have removed the mark of God's Knights in that manner.
But he admired Brando's courage.
"Perhaps next time we meet, we can have a drink together."
Shanks said with a smile.
None of this was important. They could treat it as something to talk about at the banquet the next time they met!
"The World Government's people seem to have gone mad. They're hounding our people in the East Blue."
As the commander of the Revolutionary Army's East Army, Belo Betty frowned as she reported the intelligence to Monkey D. Dragon.
"It should be because of this. They've mistaken him for one of ours."
Dragon pressed the newspaper onto the table.
He had not expected such a person to emerge from the East Blue. It had been a long time since he had seen someone who dared to draw a blade against a Celestial Dragon, though this fellow did not use a blade.
The more people like this there were, the more help it would be to the Revolutionary Army. They would let the world see the Celestial Dragons' ugly faces and shatter their divinity.
Moreover, this person's abilities seemed quite suitable for the Revolutionary Army's use.
"Things really seem to have gotten out of hand."
Brando, currently wearing Sasuke's face, wandered through a new town.
Yet wherever he went, his wanted posters were plastered everywhere.
Brando was now the most highly wanted criminal ever to come out of the East Blue. The previous holder had been Gol D. Roger, the Pirate King.
The people of the East Blue were quite enthusiastic.
But Brando did not want to bear that enthusiasm.
Brando had originally planned to go to Cocoyasi Village and have some fun grinding a few low-level fish-men. He had wanted to properly throw his Haki around at those nonhumans.
But he discovered that those ball-less bastards had not yet come to the East Blue, so he could only abandon that plan. He prepared to find a passenger ship and head straight to Loguetown, then travel from Loguetown to the Grand Line Paradise seas.
"I still haven't found a summoning beast. Should I catch one in the Calm Belt while heading to the Grand Line?"
Brando looked down on the Lord of the Coast. By now, that thing could no longer withstand a single Fire Release attack with nature transformation.
He wanted something bigger, a summon that could hold down the fort, not a loach like the Lord of the Coast.
"Marines are everywhere."
Brando was elegantly eating lunch at a roadside stall.
He watched wave after wave of Marines pass by, holding wanted posters as they searched for someone everywhere.
With his short, black, asymmetrical spiky hair, he looked nothing like himself. The Marines would at most glance at him before passing him by.
"Was my move a little too underhanded?"
After taking a bite of grilled meat, Brando even began reflecting on it.
But he soon stopped thinking about it. He had no choice but to be underhanded. Everyone in this world was a stat monster; without playing dirty, there was no way to survive.
After finishing his meal and paying, Brando left. He had already found a merchant ship carrying cargo to Loguetown and bought a spot that would take him there directly.
In the end, he spent five days aboard the ship. Brando did not idle away that time. A Shadow Clone stayed on the ship using the Transformation Technique, while his real body ran across the sea, using Lightning Release cellular activation to increase his reaction speed.
Previously, Brando's body had been unable to fully make use of the Sharingan's dynamic vision because his body could not keep up with it.
After activating his cells, his neural response speed increased drastically. He could now almost keep up with the Sharingan's movements without delay, making his actions much smoother.
At the same time, the bodies in this world really were something else. With only basic physical training, Brando could now lift objects weighing thousands of jin. However, that boost also came after obtaining the Uzumaki bloodline. Perhaps it was the enhancement gained by combining the two.
"Geppo is easy enough to understand, but Finger Pistol and Rankyaku... one is just stabbing people with your fingers, while the other creates a vacuum slash with a sweep of your leg. The Sharingan can't copy that."
Brando climbed from the sea back onto the ship and lay down after dismissing the Shadow Clone.
He had practiced for a long time and already learned Geppo after the Shadow Clone copied it. But when the two CP0 agents used Finger Pistol and Rankyaku afterward, Brando genuinely could not learn them.
It felt like brute force masquerading as technique. They poked people to death with their fingers and insisted on calling it a pistol. And that Rankyaku was obviously just an air cannon produced by sheer strength, yet they insisted on calling it a slash.
But Brando was not lacking in offensive skills. Geppo combined with Soru was already extremely useful. As for Tekkai, Kami-e, and the rest, there was even less need to learn them.
"We're finally here!"
The merchant ship arrived at Loguetown and began unloading its cargo. Brando disembarked as well.
He had come to Loguetown first to see whether there was any information about the Grand Line Paradise, and second to buy an Eternal Pose. The Grand Line's weather was too unpredictable. Though Brando was not afraid of seawater, it was better to avoid unnecessary detours.
But the moment he arrived at the harbor, Brando froze.
"Hey, hey, they aren't here to chase me, are they?"
At the harbor, Brando saw a familiar Marine vessel, a specially designed warship that only vice admirals could customize.
It was Marine hero Garp's dog-headed ship.
"Hmph, my vacation had barely ended, and that bastard Sengoku was already being a pain."
Garp stood on the deck holding senbei, his face full of displeasure.
After leaving Foosha Village, he had lingered in the East Blue for a while longer, taking charge of collecting captured pirates so he could deliver them to Impel Down on his way back. Thus, he had still not left the East Blue after two or three months.
Then Sengoku had drafted him, demanding that he stay in Loguetown for a while to intercept Brando if he headed for the Grand Line, or to provide rapid support when the World Government found Brando and deployed Admiral-level forces.
Sengoku simply did not want to pull the Marine Admirals away, so he had sent Garp, who was killing time anyway, to put in some hours.
"That brat really does have something wrong with his head."
Even Garp acknowledged what Woop Slap had said.
He had not expected Brando to do something so insane. There really was something wrong with his head.
