Arrival at the Sun Moon Imperial Soul Engineering Academy

Meng first encounters Huo Yuhao, Wang Dong’er, and Wang Qiu’er at the academy entrance. Mistaking them for students avoiding class, she grabs Huo Yuhao’s hand and escorts all three past the guard; she becomes embarrassed after learning Huo Yuhao is male. 46

Grand Soul Engineering Tournament

During the tournament, Meng meets Huo Yuhao again while teamed with Xu Tianxing. Wanting to test the spiritual-attribute newcomer praised by her grandfather, she challenges him with her Ice-Cold Fire Poison. 56 57

Huo Yuhao counters with Mind Chaos Impact. Although Meng poisons him, the skill disrupts her senses and motor control; both collapse, and their compromising position is publicly misinterpreted as a romantic scene. 57 After Huo Yuhao apologizes and dispels the effect, Meng remains angry but accepts that he did not understand the skill’s consequences. 58

Classmate and Rival
