Power Progression

Stage / Realm / Level Chapter Notes
Innate Soul Power Level 1 1 Awakened the outwardly weak “palm” Body Martial Soul, later revealed as the Formless Hand.
Soul Power Level 1.1 3 Reached by secretly stealing roughly 0.1 levels of Soul Power from Tang San.
Soul Power Level 10 3 Repeatedly siphoned Soul Power from Tang San before leaving Holy Soul Village; Tang San’s Mysterious Heaven Skill replenished the losses quickly enough to prevent detection.
Soul Power Level 11 6 Refined energy taken from Xiao Wu into Soul Rings, broke the level-ten limit, and gained an abnormal second ring.
Soul Power Level 20 — Soul Grandmaster 18 Reached after three months of collecting Soul Rings, stealing Soul Power, and studying Tang San’s techniques; obtained the Formless Hand’s second soul skill, Danger Sense.
Tendon Transformation and Marrow Purification 28 Gradually refined the Blue Silver Emperor Soul Bone’s energy, opened his meridians and acupoints, and reshaped his aptitude to a level comparable to Innate Full Soul Power.
Undying Bird mutation 36 Life energy altered the Evil Fire Phoenix into a healing-oriented Martial Soul; Qin Qi added two Thousand-Year Soul Rings and obtained two stages of Rebirth Through Fire.
Completion of Blue Silver Emperor Soul Bone energy extraction 40 Finished extracting the bone’s energy after another month. The Golden Saint Dragon consumed the exhausted bone and grew to roughly six meters; some energy within Qin Qi still required exercise to become usable strength.
Soul Power Level 26 — Soul Grandmaster 41 Confirmed by his newly constructed detection system.
Dragon Might and Dragon-Shaped Soul Power 47, 48 Replenishing draconic Origin supported the awakening of Dragon Might and the development of dragon-attributed Soul Power, which Qin Qi also used to enhance movement.
Clear Sky Hammer–Vigorous Vajra Bear fusion 52 Stole Zhao Wuji’s Martial Soul and seven Soul Rings, then developed a fused Clear Sky Hammer and attached two Ten-Thousand-Year Soul Rings. Its first skill, God of War’s Fury, doubled strength and added mentally intimidating Bear Roars to attacks.
Soul Power Level 30 55 Reached at seven years old, approximately one year after leaving Notting Academy.
Soul Power Level 31 — Soul Elder 55 Advanced after absorbing another Soul Ring; the level was subsequently confirmed by his upgraded system.
Refined combat control and Self-Created Soul Skills 58, 60, 61 Learned under Yu Yuanzhen for three months, combining Dragon Claw Hand with Dragon-Shaped Soul Power and improving combat technique, adaptability, and battle experience.
Golden Saint Dragon second evolution 63, 65 Fed the dragon 150 portions of Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Origin, stored Soul Rings, and medicinal herbs. Golden threads linked its transformation to Qin Qi; it was subsequently known as the Golden Saint Dragon King.
Dark Gold Terrorclaw Bear fusion 79 Fed the dragon king the bear’s growing External Palm Soul Bone and Origin. Metal-attributed feedback strengthened Qin Qi’s body and Soul Power, sharpened his dragon-claw attacks, and changed the protective barrier to dark gold.
Aerial movement through evolutionary feedback 95 Further feedback from the Golden Saint Dragon King allowed Qin Qi to run, jump, and turn through the air as though stepping on solid ground.
Star Luo Chess development 95, 96 Acquired Star Luo Chess and fused other stolen Martial Souls into it, including the Dragon Pattern Staff, which became a Staff Warrior war chess piece.

Background / History

Qin Qi is a transmigrator who lost both parents at the age of three and survived through the support of Holy Soul Village. His initial martial-soul awakening appeared disappointing: he possessed a one-fingered palm Body Martial Soul and only Innate Soul Power Level 1. 1

Immediately after the awakening, Ben Jie Sun—the Thieving Heaven Demon Venerable—contacted him mentally and passed down the Thieving Heaven true inheritance. Qin Qi learned that his martial soul was actually the Formless Hand, a Thieving Dao killer move capable of replacing the Gu worms normally needed to activate inherited techniques. He pledged to eventually help Thieving Heaven return to the Gu World. 1 2

Qin Qi’s first major theft was Tang San’s hidden Clear Sky Hammer. Unable to wield its weight, he used the killer move Steal to refine it into a mark on his hand, permanently making it his Martial Soul. He then began covertly draining Tang San’s Soul Power to accelerate his own cultivation. 1 2 3

At Notting Academy, Qin Qi became Dorm Seven’s boss by defeating Wang Sheng and retaining the position against Xiao Wu through evasive tactics. He later established himself as the academy’s “school boss” by knocking out Xiao Chenyu before the older student could activate his Martial Soul. 5 6 14

He secretly stole Yu Xiaogang’s Soul Rings and External Beast Martial Soul, Luo Sanpao. After refining Luo Sanpao with Heart Steal, he renamed it the Golden Saint Dragon and committed himself to evolving it into a true dragon. 8 9 17

After publicly defeating and humiliating Tang San, Qin Qi fled Notting Academy to avoid Tang Hao’s retaliation. Before leaving the region, he infiltrated the hidden chamber in Holy Soul Village, had the Golden Saint Dragon consume Ah Yin’s Blue Silver Emperor grass form, and stole the hundred-thousand-year Blue Silver Emperor Soul Bone. 26 27 28

Qin Qi gradually extracted and refined the Soul Bone’s energy instead of absorbing it whole. The process purified his body, opened his meridians and acupoints, and transformed his poor natural aptitude into talent he considered comparable to Innate Full Soul Power. 28

In Suotuo City, Qin Qi registered at the Great Soul Arena as Luo Mian and built a winning record while covertly stealing Soul Power from its visitors. He later replaced Dai Mubai’s Evil-Eyed White Tiger and Ma Hongjun’s Evil Fire Phoenix with forged imitations, then refined their genuine Martial Souls for himself. 28 31 35

The Golden Saint Dragon and Luo Mian’s recorded Innate Full Soul Power attracted Yu Yuanzhen’s attention. Because the stolen Martial Soul retained draconic and lightning characteristics associated with the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon bloodline, Yu Yuanzhen mistook Qin Qi for an unrecognized clan descendant. Qin Qi initially denied the connection and refused to accompany him, concerned that close scrutiny would expose his disguises and stolen Soul Bone. His resistance instead impressed Yu Yuanzhen, who gave him a dragon-carved jade ring and left the clan’s doors open to him. 38 39 40

After exhausting the Blue Silver Emperor Soul Bone’s energy, Qin Qi began adapting the inheritance’s artificial-intelligence and mecha knowledge into a personal cultivation system. He stole a Soul Power testing crystal, incorporated a spiritual Soul Beast’s Soul Ring and Origin, and used the Formless Hand and Computer Gu-related techniques to produce a rudimentary status panel. 40 41

He later stole Zhao Wuji’s Vigorous Vajra Bear and all seven of his Soul Rings. Danger Sense warned him of an approaching presence before he could continue harvesting Zhao Wuji’s other attributes, prompting him to retreat. The stolen Martial Soul was subsequently fused with his Clear Sky Hammer. 52

At seven years old, Qin Qi reached Level 31 and traveled to the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan. He defeated the disciples sent to test him on the clan’s mountain peaks and was formally registered in Yu Yuanzhen’s branch under the name Luo Mian. No biological father was established; the clan’s acceptance rested on its interpretation of his Martial Soul bloodline. 55 56 57

Yu Yuanzhen personally trained Qin Qi for three months, teaching combat principles, battle experience, and Self-Created Soul Skills. Qin Qi simultaneously used the clan’s resources and secretly harvested small amounts of Origin from its disciples. After another confrontation with Yu Xiaogang, he seized the Twenty-Four Bridges Bright Moon Night Storage Soul Tool and supplied the Golden Saint Dragon with enough resources to begin its second evolution. 58 60 61 63

During a mission to harvest a Thunderclap Hell Vine, Qin Qi secretly stole its Thunder Origin and Soul Ring. A beast tide separated him from his Soul Saint escort, Yu Yuanxiu. He subsequently survived in the Star Dou Great Forest with Ning Rongrong, killed a thousand-year Dark Gold Terrorclaw Bear by bypassing its defenses, and returned after a ten-day ordeal. 66 67 73 75

After returning to the clan, Qin Qi developed his cultivation-assistance system, practiced with the Dragon Bone Spear, and investigated the cumulative injuries caused by excessive training. His research increased his value to Yu Yuanzhen beyond his combat potential. He later secured appointment as dean of Blue Tyrant Academy, selected Yu Baixiao as vice dean, and accompanied the clan to confront Liu Erlong, Yu Xiaogang, and Flender over control of the academy. 82 83 87 92

During the subsequent academy developments, Qin Qi continued extracting value from the opposing Soul Masters. He acquired Star Luo Chess from a Shrek teacher and spent another day stealing Martial Souls, fusing most into the chessboard and feeding the remainder to his other Martial Souls. 94 95 96

Personality

Qin Qi is ambitious, calculating, and intensely pragmatic. He believes that an unnoticed theft is true theft, while being caught turns it into crude robbery. His plans regularly involve disguises, forged identities, concealed cultivation, and exploiting others’ weaknesses. 3 9 28 37

He is deeply defiant toward perceived arrogance and humiliation. Qin Qi defended Old Jack from the Notting Academy gatekeeper, rejected Yu Xiaogang’s demand that he kneel as a disciple, and violently forced Yu Xiaogang to experience the submission he had demanded from others. 4 21

Despite his ruthlessness, Qin Qi forms a sincere bond with the Golden Saint Dragon. He refuses to abandon it during its painful evolution, shares its suffering through Heart Steal, and treats its growth as his personal responsibility. 12 20

His independence persists even when offered powerful backing. He resisted Yu Yuanzhen despite knowing he could not win, and later rejected Ning Fengzhi’s attempt to make his orphan background a source of shame. Once accepted into the clan, however, he also readily exploited its prestige, notably to win a lodging dispute with Huo Wu and Meng Yiran. 40 66 77

Qin Qi’s public reputation within the clan emphasizes his bluntness and immediate retaliation. This reputation helped defend him against accusations that he had secretly arranged Yu Xiaogang’s beating: the clansmen believed he would attack openly rather than hire someone. His concealed thefts, disguises, and manipulation of the attacker’s testimony nevertheless show that this public image does not encompass his full behavior. 61 62

He is inventive and analytically minded, combining modern concepts with inherited techniques instead of accepting the limitations of local cultivation practices. His personal system, training template, armor hypothesis, and interest in mecha construction reflect a preference for building advantages himself. He is also capable of rapidly applying instruction when it reveals a genuine weakness in his technique. 41 58 60 82 87

His success does not eliminate loneliness or homesickness. During a solitary festival celebration, he prepared a meal and dumplings, toasted Thieving Heaven, and reflected on his separation from home. He also showed gratitude toward Yu Yuanzhen by giving him Whale Rubber in recognition of his genuine protection and support. 55 79

Qin Qi interprets good fortune as an opportunity rather than a substitute for ability. Although he increasingly seeks to steal Fortune, he concludes that strength, preparation, and judgment are necessary to exploit the opportunities it creates. His refusal to approach Dugu Bo for immortal herbs likewise demonstrates that he can abandon a tempting prospect when the risk is excessive. 63 73 90

Abilities & Skills

Formless Hand

The Formless Hand is Qin Qi’s core martial soul and the medium through which he activates Thieving Heaven’s killer moves without Gu worms. It is stealth-oriented, highly adaptable, and consumes substantial Soul Power when used against defended targets. 1 2 10

  • Steals and refines Soul Power, Soul Rings, Martial Souls, Soul Beast essence, memories, spiritual power, and life-origin energy. 3 8 9 10 16 19
  • Can refine stolen Martial Souls into permanent marks on Qin Qi’s body. 2 9 31
  • Allows Qin Qi to steal and refine his own Soul Rings, letting him circumvent normal ring limits. 6
  • Its effectiveness depends on the target: stronger Soul Masters provide higher-quality Soul Power, while weak targets yield diminishing returns. 7 9 18
  • Extremely powerful uses can exhaust his Soul Power; overcoming a Soul Master’s defenses costs more than bypassing ordinary objects or clothing. 2 10
  • Can harvest Martial Soul Origin, physical attributes, and Fortune in addition to more conventional cultivation resources. Qin Qi covertly collected these resources from clan members and Yu Xiaogang. 47 55 61 63
  • Functions as a core component of his artificial cultivation system, rather than merely supplying materials for its construction. 41 60 81
  • Can bypass a Soul Beast’s exterior defenses to destroy a vulnerable internal organ. Qin Qi killed the Dark Gold Terrorclaw Bear by crushing its brain, but the attempt exhausted all his Soul Power. 73

Sleight of Hand

Sleight of Hand is the Formless Hand’s first soul skill. It allows the hand—and objects it grips—to pass through space. 7

  • Retrieves distant objects without physical contact. 7
  • Enables covert theft through walls, clothing, and a target’s body. 8 10 31
  • Can potentially target internal organs, making it dangerous even against physically stronger opponents. 7
  • Assisted Qin Qi in entering Tang San’s sleeping mind to inspect memories and steal Purple Demon Eyes energy. 16

Danger Sense

The Formless Hand’s second soul skill warns Qin Qi of danger connected to him. 18

  • Alerts him to possible discovery or approaching threats. 18
  • Warned him of an unspecified danger when Yu Yuanzhen observed him at the Great Soul Arena. 37
  • Its intensity helps Qin Qi judge threats. During his first summons by the clan, the relatively mild warning suggested that the visitors did not harbor serious hostility. 38
  • Interrupted his attempt to continue stripping Zhao Wuji of resources, causing him to retreat before the approaching person became visible. 52

Thieving Dao Killer Moves

Qin Qi inherited multiple techniques designed for concealment, theft, disguise, refinement, and escape.

  • Steal — Instantly refines stolen targets; first used on Tang San’s Clear Sky Hammer. 2
  • Heart Steal — Refines targets or energies, including Luo Sanpao, Soul Ring energy, and the Golden Saint Dragon. 6 9 12
  • Strangers at First Sight — Causes acquaintances to perceive Qin Qi as a stranger; continuously drains Soul Power and can be seen through by sufficiently strong spiritual power. 3
  • Sand-Treading Without Trace — Evasive movement technique used to outlast Xiao Wu and later improve his already enhanced mobility. 6 28
  • Reduce Presence — Helps Qin Qi blend into crowds and avoid notice. 9
  • Boundless Sea and Sky — Suppresses his true Soul Power for false awakenings and identity concealment. 15
  • Deceive Heaven, Cross the Sea — Forges imitation Martial Souls from Soul Beast essence and Soul Rings; the replicas appear authentic but lack the genuine bloodline and abilities. Qin Qi also used a false replacement to conceal his theft of a genuine Spirit Hall testing crystal. 30 41
  • Flying Dragon Cloud-Seeking Hand — Concealed striking technique used to defeat Wang Sheng; later assessed by his system at Mastery. 5 60
  • Familiar at First Sight — Transformation-centered identity technique capable of truly changing outward characteristics, including the face and bone structure. Qin Qi regarded mastering it as necessary for safely operating around stronger Soul Masters. 18 39 40
  • Pairing Up — Divides Qin Qi’s awareness between two bodies that remain fundamentally one person. It does not produce an independent individual: injuries affect both bodies, and its initial activation consumes nearly all his Soul Power. Qin Qi planned to use it to study forging outside the clan while leaving another body behind. 82 87

His concealment techniques have limits against major experts. Qin Qi concluded that Strangers at First Sight did not affect Yu Yuanzhen, although his physical disguise successfully concealed his original identity. He continued developing his identity-related killer moves as his cultivation advanced. 40 55 59

Golden Saint Dragon

Originally Yu Xiaogang’s Luo Sanpao, the Golden Saint Dragon is Qin Qi’s sentient External Beast Martial Soul. It evolved from a puppy-like creature into a scaled, winged dragon through refined Soul Ring energy, Soul Beast essence, Evil Fire, and the Blue Silver Emperor’s life origin. 9 10 11 12 19 31

  • Thunderclap Dragon Claw — Creates lightning claws that may be launched or attached to the dragon’s own claws. 11
  • Golden Dragon Claw — Doubles the dragon’s lightning power; Qin Qi can summon a dragon claw anywhere within five meters. 12
  • Elemental Breath — Initially a lightning breath powerful enough to destroy a boulder; later gained a green life-energy breath that heals injuries. 18 20
  • Protective golden shield — Defends Qin Qi directly, compensating for the usual vulnerability of an External Beast Martial Soul user. 12
  • Can fly and has been taught Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track and Controlling Crane Capturing Dragon as self-created combat techniques. 12 20
  • Dragon Might — Exerts bloodline pressure on other draconic Martial Souls. It suppressed Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon clansmen independently of cultivation rank. 47 56
  • Grew from approximately five to six meters after consuming the exhausted Blue Silver Emperor Soul Bone. 40

The dragon began a second major evolution after receiving 150 portions of Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Origin, Qin Qi’s stored Soul Rings, and medicinal herbs supplied by Yu Yuanzhen. Golden threads connected it to Qin Qi, transmitting evolutionary feedback. It was subsequently referred to as the Golden Saint Dragon King. 63 65

Its later fusion with the Dark Gold Terrorclaw Bear’s growing External Palm Soul Bone and Origin introduced powerful metal-attributed energy. The dragon developed dark-gold scales and claws, while Qin Qi received corresponding changes to his body, Soul Power, claw attacks, and protective barrier. He expected the sharpened attacks to penetrate defenses above his own level, although this expectation was not quantified in the initial test. 79

Further development revealed innate elemental manipulation that did not require Soul Rings. Another instance of feedback strengthened Qin Qi’s lightness enough for him to move freely through the air. 95

Elemental Totem

Qin Qi’s defensive counterpart to the Golden Saint Dragon’s Elemental Breath. 18

  • Lightning Dragon Totem — Coils around Qin Qi’s shield and automatically counterattacks those who strike him. 18
  • Life Dragon Totem — Activates when the Golden Saint Dragon is injured and heals its wounds. 20

Purple Demon Eyes

Qin Qi stole Purple Demon Eyes energy and knowledge from Tang San rather than cultivating it conventionally. He considers it primarily a spiritual-power technique rather than merely an eye technique. 16 17

  • Panoramic Vision — Enhances visual detail and supports more precise theft. 17
  • Subtlety — Grants perception and reaction speed comparable to “bullet time,” allowing Qin Qi to read Tang San’s movements before countering them. 26

Stolen Tang Sect Techniques

Over several months, Qin Qi extracted and learned multiple techniques from Tang San’s memories. 19

  • Mysterious Heaven Skill
  • Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track
  • Controlling Crane Capturing Dragon
  • Hidden Weapons Compendium
  • Poison and medicine knowledge
  • Mysterious Jade Hand, subsequently assessed at Beginner by his system. 60

The Mysterious Heaven Skill improves Soul Power quality, recovery, vitality, physical strength, and cultivation efficiency. Its recovery effect is especially useful for sustaining Soul Power-draining concealment techniques. 19

His upgraded panel also assessed Mysterious Heaven Skill and Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track at Proficient, and Controlling Crane Capturing Dragon at Mastery. These were broad evaluations rather than numerical proficiency measurements. 60

Undying Bird

Qin Qi’s Evil Fire Phoenix mutated after repeated exposure to the Blue Silver Emperor Soul Bone’s life energy. Its blue-green Life Flame sacrifices destructive power for healing, recovery, and physical enhancement. He later registered it publicly as the Undying Bird under the identity Feng Jiuyue. 35 36 37

  • First Stage of Rebirth Through Fire — Doubles Life Flame recovery and healing while increasing all physical attributes by 10%. 36
  • Second Stage of Rebirth Through Fire — Adds the same enhancements again on top of the first stage. 36
  • Recalled flames restore Qin Qi’s Soul Power and stamina. 36
  • The flames heal injuries rather than burn their targets. 36

Qin Qi added two Thousand-Year Soul Rings when establishing these abilities. His experiments led him to hypothesize that accumulated energy can trigger sudden Martial Soul mutation and that the nature of the absorbed energy can influence its direction. 36

Clear Sky Hammer

Qin Qi originally stole the Clear Sky Hammer from Tang San but could not wield its immense weight effectively at his initial cultivation level. 1 2

After stealing Zhao Wuji’s Vigorous Vajra Bear, he fused it with the hammer and added two Ten-Thousand-Year Soul Rings. A bear pattern appeared on the weapon and animated when its first skill was used. 52

  • God of War’s Fury — Increases strength by 100%. Each attack also produces a Bear Roar that mentally intimidates opponents, slowing movement and reactions and potentially leaving them dazed. 52
  • The weapon received a second Soul Skill, but its effect is not specified in the available account. 52

Dragon-Shaped Soul Power and Combat Techniques

Replenishing draconic Origin gave Qin Qi Soul Power with a special dragon attribute. He used it to strengthen his movement and later integrated it into hand-to-hand attacks and spear techniques. 48 60 89

  • Dragon Claw Hand — Learned from Yu Yuanzhen. Combining it with Dragon-Shaped Soul Power forms golden, five-fingered dragon claws over Qin Qi’s hands. 60
  • Controlled force and transitions — Yu Yuanzhen taught him to reduce obvious movement traces and avoid committing all his strength to one action, preserving the ability to change direction or transition between attacks. 58
  • Soul Skill-level attacks — His developed dragon-shaped attacks were powerful enough for Yu Yuanzhen to compare them with ordinary Soul Masters’ Soul Skills. 61
  • Spear techniques — Trained the foundational Parry, Control, and Thrust movements with his cultivation template, then refined them through repeated practice. 82 88
  • Lightning redirection — Used the Dragon Bone Spear and dragon-shaped Soul Power to gather Yu Tianheng’s ranged lightning and return it in the form of a pursuing dragon. 89
  • Golden True Dragon Armor — A proposed Self-Created Soul Skill that forms armor from Soul Power to imitate the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon’s Dragon Transformation. Qin Qi made progress on the concept, but its completed form is not established in the available account. 87 88

His Golden Saint Dragon King does not retain the clan’s Dragon Transformation ability after mutation. Qin Qi’s armor research is an attempt to reproduce its bodily and Soul Skill amplification through a different method. 87

Self-Made Cultivation System

Qin Qi constructed his own system rather than receiving an innate status interface. Its initial supporting components were a stolen Soul Power testing crystal and a spiritual Soul Beast’s Soul Ring and Origin; its core operation depended on the Formless Hand and Thieving Heaven’s techniques, including Computer Gu-related knowledge. 40 41

Development Functions and limitations
Initial detection panel Measured Level 26 Soul Power, but lacked enough data to evaluate Soul Power quality, physical fitness, or spiritual power. 41
Expanded assessment framework Classified physical ability by the attacks a body could withstand and produce, while using accumulated information to estimate mental strength. Qin Qi continued refining the framework rather than treating it as complete. 50
Upgraded status and skill panel Displayed his true Level 31 and disguised Level 14, rated Soul Power quality as A, assessed physical fitness at Beginner Soul Elder and mental power at Intermediate Soul Elder, and provided broad technique-mastery categories. 60
Cultivation advice Recommended Soul Power compression, integration of close combat with Dragon-Shaped Soul Power, and coordinated fighting with the Golden Saint Dragon. These were system evaluations and suggestions, not independently demonstrated universal conclusions. 60
Cultivation Assistant and training template Used a chibi model to identify incorrect muscle use, unnecessary movement, and poor fluidity, then demonstrated corrections. Qin Qi’s spear practice became smoother, faster, and more powerful when following its feedback. 81 82
  • The upgraded device was reduced first to a glass bead and later to a ring-shaped System Crystal Ball. 60 81
  • Its detailed analysis consumes considerable Soul Power. 60
  • Insufficient data and computing power prevented precise numerical proficiency meters; assessments remained categorical. 60
  • Integrated storage space and adapted mecha construction remained future ambitions rather than established system functions. 41 82

Fortune Theft

Qin Qi stole Fortune from Yu Xiaogang alongside information and other resources. He associated subsequent favorable developments—including Yu Yuanzhen’s affection, clan status, and changing interpersonal responses—with this stolen Fortune. 55 63

  • Perceived Yu Tianxin’s support during a confrontation with Yu Xiaogang as a possible manifestation of shifting Fortune. 55
  • Considered stealing Fortune from Tang San to obtain further opportunities; this remained a plan in the cited account. 63
  • Believes Fortune creates favorable circumstances but does not replace the strength and judgment required to benefit from them. 63

Cultivation Research and Medical Insight

Qin Qi’s research combines inherited knowledge, Tang Sect medicine, modern reasoning, and the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan’s accumulated records. He rapidly memorized the clan library’s books, including Soul Beast guides and studies of cultivation paths. 19 84 87

He diagnosed the apparent flaw in the Thunder Body Tempering Art as an imbalance between training intensity and recovery, rather than an inherently defective technique. Minor injuries accumulated when ordinary practitioners imitated methods suited to an unusually robust founder, gradually damaging their foundations and slowing later cultivation. 83

  • Recommended daily midday naps, medicinal baths, nourishing medicinal meals, and one rest day after every seven training days. 83
  • Later proposed gradual treatment of existing hidden injuries through mild medicines, physical conditioning, and replenishment of vitality. The recovery process required time rather than an immediate cure. 87
  • Recognized the potential of mild electrical stimulation from Thunderclap Hell Vine medicinal baths and considered monitoring exercise form and targeted muscle use through his system. 77

Equipment / Items

  • Blue Silver Emperor Soul Bone — Hundred-thousand-year Soul Bone stolen from Ah Yin’s hidden chamber. Qin Qi initially concealed it and extracted its energy gradually for cultivation; after the energy was exhausted, the Golden Saint Dragon consumed the remaining bone. 28 30 40
  • Spirit Hall certificates — Holds official documentation under the identities Luo Mian and Feng Jiuyue. 15 37
  • Forged Martial Souls — Counterfeit Evil Fire Phoenix and Evil-Eyed White Tiger Martial Souls used to conceal his theft of the originals from Ma Hongjun and Dai Mubai. 30 31
  • Dragon-carved jade ring — Yu Yuanzhen’s personal token, given to Qin Qi as an invitation to the clan. Its presentation secured recognition and entry when he later arrived as Luo Mian. 40 55
  • System Crystal Ball — Stolen Soul Power testing crystal transformed into a cultivation-analysis device. Later miniaturized into a bead and then a ring-shaped form. 41 60 81
  • Twenty-Four Bridges Bright Moon Night — Storage Soul Tool seized from Yu Xiaogang as compensation after their confrontation. Qin Qi subsequently used it to carry resources, the Dark Gold Terrorclaw Bear’s remains, and his Dragon Bone Spear. 63 73 82
  • Dark Gold Terrorclaw Bear Palm Bone — Growing External Soul Bone obtained from the bear Qin Qi killed. He fed it, together with the bear’s Origin, to the Golden Saint Dragon King rather than absorbing it directly. 73 79
  • Thunderclap Hell Vine — Harvested with Yu Yuanxiu’s help. Qin Qi secretly removed its Thunder Origin and Thousand-Year Soul Ring before returning the depleted vine to Yu Yuanzhen; its remaining body retained medicinal value. 66 75 77
  • Dragon Bone Spear — Forged from ten-thousand-year dragon bone in Gengxin City as an attempted soul-guided weapon. Considered a failure because ordinary Soul Power could not activate it, the spear responds to Qin Qi’s special dragon-attributed Soul Power. 82
  • Medicinal herbs — Resources supplied by Yu Yuanzhen, including herbs consumed during the Golden Saint Dragon’s second evolution. 63
  • Whale Rubber — Body-strengthening resource Qin Qi considered useful for restoring energy and improving physique. He later gifted some to Yu Yuanzhen in gratitude for his support. 13 79

Relationships

  • Ben Jie Sun / Thieving Heaven Demon Venerable — Benefactor and fellow otherworldly traveler who granted Qin Qi the Thieving Heaven inheritance; Qin Qi promises to help him return to the Gu World. He remains emotionally important to Qin Qi, who honors him during a solitary festival celebration. 1 55
  • Golden Saint Dragon / Golden Saint Dragon King — Stolen and renamed External Beast Martial Soul; Qin Qi’s loyal companion and cultivation partner. Their bond deepens when Qin Qi shares its evolution pain. Later transformations transmit power back to Qin Qi, and he repeatedly invests rare resources in its development for their mutual benefit. 9 12 20 63 79 95
  • Tang San — Village companion turned covert victim and rival. Qin Qi stole Tang San’s Clear Sky Hammer, Soul Power, techniques, memories, and Blue Silver Emperor origin; their conflict culminated in Qin Qi’s public defeat of Tang San. He later considers stealing Tang San’s Fortune and learns from Yu Tianheng that Tang San was referred to Blue Tyrant Academy after rejection by Heaven Dou Academy. 1 2 3 16 19 26 63 90
  • Xiao Wu — Dorm Seven companion and recurring competitor. She challenged Qin Qi for leadership, but later developed respect for his ability and continued to interact with him familiarly. 6 7 13
  • Wang Sheng — Former Dorm Seven boss who became Qin Qi’s supporter after losing to him. Wang Sheng credits Qin Qi with ending the work-study students’ mistreatment. 5 17
  • Old Jack — Village chief and caretaker who supported Qin Qi after his parents’ deaths and arranged his opportunity to attend Notting Academy. Qin Qi fiercely defended him from the academy gatekeeper. 1 2 4
  • Yu Xiaogang — Target of Qin Qi’s contempt and theft. Qin Qi stole Luo Sanpao and all of Yu Xiaogang’s Soul Rings, then violently rejected Yu Xiaogang’s attempt to take him as a disciple. Under the Luo Mian identity, he continued humiliating Yu Xiaogang, stealing his Fortune, and eventually seized his Storage Soul Tool. Yu Xiaogang’s ignorance of Qin Qi’s disguise allowed the same antagonism to develop under two identities. 8 9 17 21 38 55 63
  • Tang Hao — Dangerous enemy whose strength restrains Qin Qi from killing Tang San outright. Qin Qi fled Notting Academy in anticipation of Tang Hao’s retaliation. 26 27
  • Dai Mubai and Ma Hongjun — Shrek students from whom Qin Qi stole the Evil-Eyed White Tiger and Evil Fire Phoenix, replacing both with forged copies. 30 31
  • Yu Yuanzhen — Clan leader, grandfather figure, protector, and combat mentor. He mistook Luo Mian’s stolen Martial Soul for evidence of clan descent and formally placed him in his own family branch. He personally trained Qin Qi, mobilized a search after his disappearance, and supported his research. Qin Qi frequently complains about his restrictive protection but acknowledges his genuine care. Their grandfather-grandson relationship is established socially, not through a verified biological connection. 38 40 57 58 61 73 79 83
  • Yu Tianheng — Recognizes Luo Mian as a cousin, respects his combat ability, and repeatedly spars with him. His loyalty to Yu Xiaogang causes friction: he unknowingly asked Qin Qi to help punish “Qin Qi,” prompting a retaliatory beating without learning his cousin’s true identity. 47 57 89 90
  • Yu Tianxin — Cousin-like ally who warns Luo Mian against Yu Xiaogang and openly supports him during their disputes. Qin Qi suspects, without confirmation, that Yu Tianxin indirectly arranged a later beating of Yu Xiaogang. 47 54 55 62
  • Huo Huo — Attendant who provides towels, massages, and other personal care. She is trusting and often teased or misled by Qin Qi, but also shows genuine concern for his health and safety. 60 61 65
  • Liu Erlong — Initially confronts Qin Qi while defending Yu Xiaogang, then becomes conflicted after hearing that Luo Mian may be her younger half-brother. This is her interpretation of his supposed clan origins, not a confirmed biological relationship. Her protection of Yu Xiaogang becomes less absolute during Qin Qi’s subsequent assault; she later opposes the clan over Blue Tyrant Academy. 62 63 92
  • Yu Yuanxiu — Soul Saint escort during the Thunderclap Hell Vine expedition. He harvested the vine and attempted to protect Qin Qi, but a beast tide separated them. 65 66 73
  • Ning Rongrong — Companion whose life Qin Qi saved during their shared forest ordeal. She became deeply attached to him, sought safety in his presence, and slept in his arms after their return. Qin Qi promised to visit her, although his interest in the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda’s Origin also influenced his plans. 73 75 76 79

Trivia

  • Qin Qi’s first public awakening identified his Formless Hand only as a palm-like Body Martial Soul with Innate Soul Power Level 1. 1
  • The Formless Hand changed from one finger to two after Qin Qi refined energy taken from Xiao Wu. 6 7
  • Qin Qi deliberately avoids publicly using the Evil-Eyed White Tiger because of its association with the Star Luo royal family. 37
  • His identities are distinguished by different Martial Souls: Qin Qi uses the Formless Hand, Luo Mian uses the Golden Saint Dragon, and Feng Jiuyue uses the Undying Bird. 37
  • Feng Jiuyue’s disguise includes crimson hair, a thinner physique, and a lotus mark between the brows, deliberately creating memorable identifying traits. 37
  • Luo Mian’s supposed clan ancestry is a consequence of the stolen Martial Soul and the clan’s interpretation of it; no biological father was identified before Yu Yuanzhen registered him in his branch. 38 39 57
  • His personal system is an invention assembled from local materials and inherited techniques, not a system bestowed upon him at transmigration. 40 41 82
  • His true Level 31 cultivation was concealed behind a Level 14 Soul Master identity during his early training under Yu Yuanzhen. 60
  • Qin Qi’s long-term technological ambitions include adapting Thieving Heaven’s mecha knowledge to Douluo forging and eventually leaving his system as an inheritance for later generations. 41 82
  • He memorized every book in the clan library within half a month of beginning his studies. 87
  • Qin Qi’s refusal to absorb the Dark Gold Terrorclaw Bear Palm Bone personally was strategic: strengthening the Golden Saint Dragon King could improve both the dragon and himself through their feedback connection. 79
  • Yu Tianheng knows him as Luo Mian and remains unaware of his original identity when asking him to help beat “Qin Qi.” 90
  • Most Martial Souls taken during the later academy developments were fused into Star Luo Chess; those fed to his other Martial Souls increased Origin and strength without causing further mutations in that instance. 96
