Uchiha Clan Thin Bloodline Card (Complete)!
Looking at the card that had automatically synthesized in his inventory, Qifeng temporarily set aside his heavy heart.
He took out the card engraved with a scarlet eye. Inside the eye, a single black tomoe flickered with an eerie light, as if the eye might fly out of the card at any moment.
"It won't be like Shikotsumyaku, will it?"
Instead of using it directly, he thought back to the piercing pain he'd felt when activating the Shikotsumyaku Kekkei Genkai.
He shuddered involuntarily.
That shadow of an experience was probably going to haunt him for a long time.
He took a deep breath.
Suppressing his unease, he gritted his teeth and slapped the card onto himself.
Even though he was scared, he still had to use it.
As the card touched his body, it turned into a streak of light that surged into him, fine threads burrowing into his flesh before vanishing without a trace.
Qifeng slowly blinked his eyes open and looked at his hands in surprise.
"That's it?"
It wasn't what he'd expected. Shikotsumyaku had hurt like hell, but the Uchiha Clan's bloodline didn't react at all?
No stat boosts, no physical changes.
He was about to open his panel to check if the card had failed to activate when suddenly his temple throbbed.
"Here it comes."
Qifeng's expression stiffened. Before he could react, a sharp, piercing pain drilled into his brain, like dozens of hammers pounding in succession, unbearable.
The chakra in his body began to flow uncontrollably through his meridians, madly converging toward his eyes.
His wide-open eyes gradually changed. Traces of crimson blood vessels followed the eye's inner pathways, gathering toward the pupils. His original black pupils shrank and condensed, finally forming a tiny black tomoe.
At the same time, his eyeballs were completely overtaken by red.
Single Tomoe, Sharingan!
The pain came fast, and left just as fast.
"Hah—hah—It even knows how to ambush me now."
Qifeng wiped his forehead with lingering fear.
At least, even though it hurt, it was nowhere near as bad as the Shikotsumyaku Kekkei Genkai.
And he'd been prepared.
He touched his eyes.
He could clearly feel the change in them. The most obvious was his vision.
On the window, a tiny black insect crawled slowly. In the corner, a single speck of dust lay quietly.
"Might Guy didn't clean well."
Qifeng rubbed his eyes, stopped the flow and input of Chakra, and his vision returned to normal.
The main ability of the Single Tomoe Sharingan was observation and dynamic visual capture.
Things like copying ninjutsu or enhancing genjutsu weren't within its reach—those were functions of the Double Tomoe or even Three Tomoe.
Still, it was enough.
For now, the biggest use for Qifeng
was ensuring the Morgue was absolutely spotless.
"This damn cleanliness obsession."
A system pop-up appeared, slightly delayed.

"But why do I feel completely unfazed, like I almost want to laugh? Must be because I'm too laid-back."
He shook his head, took out the previous stat boost card, and used it on himself.

Looking at his current stats, he felt quite at ease.
Walking out of the morgue, he pulled out a cigarette, lit it with a flick of his fingers, and as a wisp of white smoke curled upward, the red ember pulsed with each breath.
He blew out a smoke ring.
That felt good.
He silently finished the cigarette and crushed the butt under his foot.
"Tomorrow, I'll have to make sure Gai cleans even more thoroughly."
"Gai, you need to be more careful. Yesterday, I found a speck you missed."
"Yes! Senior Qifeng, I'll be more diligent! More thorough!"
Qifeng waved a hand and headed toward the center of the village.
Meticulous Might Gai. Reliable.
Though war hadn't broken out yet, the shinobi world was like a volcano on the verge of eruption—oppressive, stifling gloom shrouding everything.
Even Konoha felt the impact.
The smiles on the streets had faded. Laughter had gone into hiding.
Ordinary people might not understand what was happening, but traveling merchants and wandering ronin inevitably carried bits of bad news.
Qifeng strolled lazily into Konoha's central district.
An area enclosed by a long, towering wall.
At its heart stood a torii gate inscribed with the words "Uchiha," flanked by the Flame Fan crest.
This was the Uchiha clan's compound in Konoha.
As the village's premier clan and one of the most powerful ninja families in the shinobi world, the Uchiha's status was beyond question.
Though the Uchiha were now disliked and ostracized by the Konoha higher-ups, ordinary people didn't know that. They only saw that the Uchiha occupied the richest, most central area of the village.
Outsiders only knew that the Uchiha equaled the Konoha Military Police Force, wielding immense power as a noble clan.
In fact, most Uchiha members themselves were unaware of their clan's awkward position in Konoha.
They simply maintained, upheld, and carried on the Uchiha pride.
Arriving at the entrance of the Uchiha compound, he was briefly questioned by the guards and then smoothly let inside.
Once inside, it was a different world.
Classical architecture, Flame Fan emblems everywhere, and a small internal commercial street bustling with activity no less than the outside.
To Qifeng, the Uchiha compound was like a village within a village, a country within a country!
The Uchiha truly had reason to be proud.
But unfortunately, even a clan as powerful as the Uchiha would one day face annihilation, and the ones responsible—both in the shadows and in the open—were their own people.
Still, that had nothing to do with Qifeng.
Walking through the Uchiha compound's streets, he drew quite a bit of attention.
After all, outsiders rarely entered.
"Senior Qifeng!!"
A figure came running from behind, stumbling a few steps from the speed and nearly falling.
That reckless look was unmistakably Uchiha Obito.
"It really is you, Senior Qifeng! I thought I was seeing things." Obito's face lit up with excitement.
"School's out this early?" Qifeng asked, a little surprised.
"Heh heh." Obito rubbed his nose. "Today's the final exam. Once it's over, school's out, of course."
Final exam. Qifeng nodded thoughtfully.
So it seemed the war really wasn't far off.
"What was the test on?"
"Clone Technique."
"How'd you do?"
Obito's smile froze. He scratched the back of his head awkwardly, then let out a dry chuckle. "Haha. Of course, of course it went great! I'm a genius of the Uchiha Clan, and we Uchiha produce geniuses."
Qifeng had no idea whether the Uchiha Clan produced geniuses or not, but the current Obito was nowhere near the word "genius."
He figured Might Guy could probably wipe the floor with Obito too.
Ignoring Qifeng's teasing gaze, Obito turned his head. "Qifeng-senpai, what brings you here all of a sudden? Is there anything I can help with?"
"Oh, I'm looking for Uchiha Kagami's grandfather."
"Grandpa Tobirama?"
"You know him?"
"He lives right next door to me."
