"Dean, there's something I need to tell you." Keeping his voice low, Qin Ming briefly recounted how a boy named Huang Yun had defeated Yu Tianheng with a single kick the previous night, and how he had met the boy at the Imperial Fighting Team's quarters that morning.

He added at the end, "That boy claimed his martial soul was the Thunder Kunpeng, and that he was a Seven-Ring Soul Sage."

Flender's hand paused.

Zhao Wuji stopped slurping his porridge too.

Liu Erlong set down her chopsticks, and Yu Xiaogang adjusted the glasses on his nose. Everyone's eyes turned toward Qin Ming.

In the corner, Zhu Zhuqing's fingers tightened slightly around her bowl of porridge.

She kept her head lowered, her expression barely changing, but her heartbeat quickened noticeably.
